According to the National Football League's Personal Conduct Policy, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes could face disciplinary actions ranging from "clinical evaluation" to "suspension" as a result of his recent arrest on charges of domestic violence by assault and assault.

Has he signed a contract yet? or obliged himself in anyway to the Steelers or NFL? how is it that they could enforce anything on him..

maybe add some details to his contract to protect themselves from more behavior like this in the future..

The NFL isn't going to do anything unless he is found guilty of the domestic abuse charges. He pleaded not guilty and the woman involved did not file for a Protection From Abuse order, was present at the arraignment, and requested that Holmes be released.

I think there is a very good chance that Holmes is going to going to wiggle out of this incident.

The challenge for Holmes is going to be staying out of any more trouble.
