Stephen Jackson (1 Viewer)

I have been reading lately regarding the heel injury of Stephen Jackson. Since he is a target for me in my draft, I am particularly interested in knowing the most up to date information about him. IF anyone has any info, post it here

That is a funny one. I am just concerned about using my first pick on him. I am torn between Barber, Jackson, James and Jordan. Each player has an issue. Jackson has the heel, Barber has the lack of goal line touches, James has the new bad offensive line, and Jordan seem to not be catching the ball in this different offense. I want to find a back who can fun, catch and get the ball at the 1 yard line. The others that you may think of will be gone when I draft.

Backs just don't fun like they used to.

It is getting harder and harder to find the complete back. LT, LJ. They don't make them like they used to. I tell ya, these days everything is specialized- relief pitchers, bathroom water, kitchen water. When I was young, we had one item and it worked for EVERYTHING- removed warts, fixed headaches, put you to sleep, etc. I miss the good old days. :D

I know this is irrelevant, but I had heal tendonitis and I could run/full sprint, it just hurt alot. And it took 6 months to go away, I just had to rest it or it got worse. Now I know I am not even close to a pro athlete's form, but I am worried that this is a season long issue. Which suxors because I was diggin' Jax at maybe 1.4.

I know they can put some painkillers or something in there, but it's not the start I was looking for from SJ.

Considering he had only 5 touches last game, I don't know what to think either. Part of the problem, is that we have too much information these days.

Yeah, I was hoping for 40-45 touches so we would know how much of a beating his heel could really takeThis is also why I wont take LT. I can't get a good read on his performance as he gets no preseason carries

Whatever dude... You need to work on your sarcasm..

I was thinking the first team might get a few more reps with the new playbook as they have a new OC with Linehan... But apparently you already spoke with Martz and have verified that 5 touches was all he needed..

Drop us some more gems.

I was thinking the same exact thing!!! :lmao:

Apparently, the Rams will be offering a contract to Stephen Davis. This is a strange move, considering one of Jackson's strengths is supposed to be getting the tough yardage (short and goalline). This is just one more reason for me to move Ronnie Brown ahead of Jackson:

The Rams are reportedly ready to make a contract offer to Stephen Davis.

He again passed a physical. It's curious that St. Louis is loading up on slow veteran running backs, but maybe Steven Jackson's Achilles isn't as healthy as he's let on. Davis might cut into Jackson's short-yardage carries.

Give me a break already!

Can't draft "big dummy" Jordan because Oakland's offensive line/Brooks/whatever sucks BAD.

Can't draft Portis because he screwed up his shoulder and Duckett will vulture his goalline TD's.

And now I can't draft Jackson if Davis gets picked up because he'll steal goalline touches!

I think I need a drink. :banned:

Ronnie Brown.... paging Mr. Ronnie Brown....

Not so fast.....Aug 23 Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports although he continues to praise his running back corps, Miami Dolphins head coach Nick Saban said Tuesday, Aug. 22, the team is still looking at the possibility of bolstering the position. "I don't feel like that's a position where we're totally settled on making an evaluation or feeling that we have the kind of quality depth that we might need," said Saban, who has RBs Sammy Morris, Travis Minor and Kay-Jay Harris as his top options behind starting RB Ronnie Brown. "It might be something that we continue to work to develop as well as address." KFFL Recent News
