Steve Smith = Alexander? (1 Viewer)

I have my DD adjusted for my 0.5 ppr auction league and it has Steve Smith valued just under Alexander and just over Maroney (at #11). Is this way off? Or is it reasonable to elevate Smith's value this much for 0.5 ppr? Starters are 1/2/3/1/1/1. I don't mean to turn this into a draft dominator discussion, as I know how to adjust the base values. I'm more interested to know other's opinions on how much the 0.5 ppr increases the top WRs.

Makes sense if you have Steve with 90 catches and Shaun with 20.

Thats an extra 35 points.

Shaun at 1600 with 14tdx6 + 10 = 254

Steve at 1300 with 10tdx6 + 45 = 235

As an example.

But Smith would be very hard pressed to get past the 1400 range and more then 12-13 tds.

Shaun could crush those numbers to the tune of 1900 and 19+ tds.

Which would make a 50+ point spread at the ceiling.

If you look at Dodd's projections for both you will see that he has...

Alexander with 1310 rushing yds & 12 TD's and 20 receptions for 125 yds & 1 TD = 221 points in a non PPR league. SA's 20 rec x 0.5 = 10 pts. 221 + 10 = 231 pts

S.Smith with 90 receptions for 1314 yds & 10 TD's = 191 points in a non PPR league. Smith's 90 rec x 0.5 = 45 pts. 191 + 45 = 236 pts.

In an auction league I would think that S.Smith would come significantly cheaper than Shaun Alexander, even though Smith could end up slightly ahead of Alexander due to the scoring system.
