Yes, Jake Delhomme is an offense killer at this point. Nobody's making Matt Moore into the next Tom Brady but he does have some decent passing skills and should be more effective that Delhomme.

I heard the injury will not keep Delhomme out this week. Fox is trying something new. Delhomme will play the game as a lefty. Left handed Delhomme or Moore are both upgrades for Steve Smith.
I don't get the chance to watch too many Panther games, but I did watch the MIA game in its entirety a couple of weeks ago. Smith was 7/87/1 in that game. With a respectable QB it would have been about 12/180/3. Smith was open. A lot. Delhomme is so bad right now, even in his comparatively good games he's missing open WRs.
Just don't see how they can't give Moore a shot. Delhomme has passing games of 65,73,90,130 this year. He's completing 55% of his passes to CAR players, and 5% to the opposition.
Up, Smith produced just fine with Moore in at the end of 2007. I have a feeling Moore will look good enough that Fox will endure even more criticism for not putting him in earlier.
I think it all depends on if Aqib Talib plays. Last time Smith faced Talib he only had one catch. Last I read Talib is doubtful, so fingers crossed he misses the game.
