Steve Smith's value going forward? (1 Viewer)

I feel like he hasn't been talked about much at all, fantasy wise at least. Is it possible he will finish the season a top 10 fantasy receiver? Targeted 42 times, that ranks up there with Calvin, Julio, Jordy. 429 yards this season. Or is he a sell high? I really have no need to trade him, unless it involves a trade where I land a top tier RB, really the only thing my team lacks, but i'd just like to know what everyones thoughts are on him.

7/118/1 - 15 targets

6/71/0 - 10 targets

5/101/0 - 7 targets

7/139/2 - 10 targets

Probably time to sell high (coming from someone heavily leveraged in SS this year).

He's not going to get you Calvin numbers based on the system Baltimore runs, but as noted above, there's not many other pass catching options for the Ravens. I think his performance for the first 3 games is what I would expect out of him. That's an average of around 10 - 12 pts/game. WR1 numbers.

Week after week, the "experts" keep saying that he can't keep this pace. Yet, through 4 weeks he has done just that. I'm holding.

I am trying to sell high. Smith was very motivated because he was cut by the Panthers and then he played them in week 4. Now that he has gotten his revenge I see a decrease in his production, plus he is 35 and you don't recover as well as like when you are 25, and teams will adjust their defense and start to take him away.

I am not saying he will fall off the map, I still think he will be a low end wr2, but if I can send him and Lacy for Murray, I am doing it.
