Steven Jackson owners (1 Viewer)

So if you own this guy, you've probably been starting him every week, as he has been a beast. Lots of leagues have week 14 as the first week of the playoffs, but there's a problem for SJax owners - he has a touch matchup against the Bears defense (7th in the league against the run heading into their game yesterday). It is at home, so that should help him out a little bit.

So, what do you think? Will you start him without reservation like you have the rest of the season? Or are you looking somewhere else, hoping you can make it through week 14 to get to the rest of his playoff schedule (which is juicy - @ Raiders, vs. Redskins)?

Not a WDIS - I'm interested to see what everyone thinks about Jackson's chances against the Bears.

For lack of better options, he's staying in my lineup. In PPR leagues, his value is tremendous, regardless of who he's up against. The guy has only 6 TD's on the season, yet has produced 272.00 HP pts (second only to LT2 & L. Johnson). You couldn't pry this guy out of my lineup.

The bears have been giving up enough rushing yards lately. Keep jackson in the lineup unless you got LJ, LT, alexander and maybe a couple others.

The Rams should take a knee and dare the Bears offense to win a game.

No I have a bye this week, with 1.2 PPR I would start him.

:goodposting: If C. Taylor can have a good game against Chicago (in Chicago) surely Jackson will have a good game at home.

nope..................NO WAY i sit him.................EVER. CHI has been ran on alot this year. i would play JAX vs anybody BUT MIN.

Not a chance. Jackson has been getting rushing and recieving yards. The bears gave up nearly 200 yards against the Vikings with Brad Johnson playing bad enough to get benched for Brooks Bollinger (who did okay). They gave up 75 yards to Fason. Holt and Bulger are better than any combination of QB/WR on the Vikings I think the Bears will have more trouble focusing on stopping Jackson.

As an SJax owner I'll be starting him. Next in line is Deuce then Caddy for me so I think I have to stick with him. If he doesn't get it rushing he can get it receiving. I just hope the guys Bulger was calling out weren't offensive linemen.

DONT SIT JACKSON.

He's now officially a stud. He gets enough in the passing game that it doesnt matter if you can't run - but you can run on Chicago, all the more reason that you shouldnt even think about benching SJax.

:goodposting:ETA: The loss of Pace would have me thinking about it, but only for a second. Never bench your studs.

I watched some of the Minn game yesterday...

Taylor was running all over that mighty Bears D.

Start Jackson.

He is probably a top 5 pick next year.

Would you ever not start a top 5 pick?

I have stared him every week this year. His stats amaze me. Just when I think his rushing is a bust in a game, he turns around and puts up a bunch of reception yards. I will always start him. And besides, for those of you going into your FF playoffs, this guy is on a ###### team and will not be sitting any game unless he's benched or injured which hopefully will not happen.

If Tommie Harris misses any time, this is like asking if you should start LT vs the Colts. If he doesn't, you should still start Jackson.

I really wonder if this isnt a far out idea.If I were the Rams, Id probably run every down, and punt the ball out of bounds, then load up on the run on defense, single up Muhammad, and put the other saftey over Berrian. Force Rex to throw underneath.

Was originally planning to sit him, but my alternatives have started to look a little shakey, so I think he's getting the nod. I expect nice yardage numbers, a touchdown would be a bonus.

SJax owner chiming in.....my concerns with Jackson heading into the playoffs is the team morale and there ability to be competitive in games. If they have quit on the season and teams hang 30+ points on that defense, how many opportunities will Jackson have to carry the football. Fantasy owners biggest fears are that we will see a repeat of the Carolina game.

Week 1 of the fantasy playoffs is a tough matchup for the Rams. I understand that the Bears can be run on, and that Jackson can have success against the Bears run defense. My concern is that the Rams can't keep up with the Bears, and they will fall behind quickly. If they fall behind by a wide margin early, I am concerned that Jackson could see another 10 carry day.

If we get past next week, we have to like week 15 @Oak and championship game at home against the Skins. For Jackson owners, if you get past round 1 you have a great chance of winning this thing on his back.

Jackson is also a big part of the passing game. I wouldn't be too worried about him not getting touches.
