Couple of questions since I haven't been paying attention:Is Incognito back?
Yes-
If so, has there been any marked improvement in the line since he returned?
Some, Incognito is VERY aggressive and is the tone-setter for the line. Leonard (who is amazingly slow) had 100 against ARI in his first game back, but the next two (BAL and SEA) were terrible, they were out of the game because of the QB turnovers.
Other than the arrest posted above, has there been any more recent loses to the OL?
Romberg is questionable with two sprained ankles, his backup is last year's starting center who has been playing guard.
Was Terrell any good? Is he going to be missed if he misses time?
No. He and Linehan got into an argument last week in practice, and if not for Romberg's questioned availability, I think he'd already be gone. Even without the arrest, I thought they were just waiting for the bye week to give themselves an extra week for whomever they bring in.
-If he misses time, it won't be this weekend, right?
70/30 he will no longer be empoyed. Area columnists were calling to release him last week after the Linehan argument.
And this is likely speculation, but what's Leonard's role this week? I would assume, as others have said, if SJax is back it's because he's ready to go, not just 75 or 80%. So I would think Leonard becomes a Betts type player this week and forward unless SJax gets hurt again. Correct?
Linehan has been quoted (for all you "LINK?" people, search for it yourself at STLtoday.com) saying that the Rams would not bring SJax back until he was physically ready to fill the roe he had when he was injured. That's about as set in stone as NFL coaches ever get.
