Well I was #8 in a 12 man league and drafted him. Presented great value.

I am worried though. Last year we saw health issues, terrible O-Line and one of the worst offenses in the league.

What has changed, other than the health issue, for 2009? It looks like the QB issue is still there with Bulger's frequent injuries and I have not heard much about the O-Line. I searched the forum before posting this and I did not find this discussion. I know he runs hard, but with the same issues will that make a difference? Some posters are saying he could be #1 at the end of the year.

Bad O-line, Health concerns, No Passing threat, coaches are mediocre at best, schedule...you can go on and on

I got him in the second round. He will at least live up to that draft position at worst, at best he could push for the rushing title.

Really, how is this going to happen? He's the only weapon on the team with a gigantic ? at QB. I feel like we've been having this discussion for 3 years.

Oh hey, it had been like 2 days since we had a new Steven Jackson thread so I was starting to get worried.

I said at best. What is the likelihood that "At best" happens? He has the talent if his line steps up. Bulger is a ? as you said.

And yet he scores top 3 in ppg when he's healthy. It's a matter of trying to predict injuries. He's had no major issues (knee etc) and he is completely healthy to start the season. This year he shouldn't have any more injury risk than any other healthy RB. It should be a no-brainer to take him in the first round, but it's sort of like accidentally drinking spoiled milk... the next time you drink milk you swear it still tastes funny.
