Sold off CVS in my girlfriend's IRA. Dividend was ok but I want more growth and it's just been dormant.

Going to start her position in Cloudflare ($NET) ahead of earnings and see how that pans out. I'll still continue to accumulate but that will influence how I do it.

I mean, unless someone can give me a reason not to? Seems like the stars are aligning here.

Hmmm...  reading up on this.

I had a ton just before last earnings but sold it on the run-up to earnings.  I think that was low 20's to high 20's at the time.

It's a bit of a darling right now in stock talk circles, but it has already run up a lot so there is definitely some risk there.

This was the kind of thing that made people wait on $SE and others.  But it's not wrong and why I don't go all in on anything right off the bat.

Almost had a heart attack when I saw the price this morning, but it’s just dilution from a split. My new shiny BEPC shares just hit my account a few minutes ago. Everyone’s going to own 5 shares of a $40 stock now instead of 4 shares of a $50 stock.

What a balloon knot this guy is. Very wrong .... but if you're gonna do it, buy $20k and maybe stay under the radar.

Greedy sob. He needs to see some prison time ... and the league commissioner needs to reverse this trade.
Lol, read the other articles on the page.  It is the hedge....

Listen, I wish I had bought TDOC at $65. I literally bought ZM instead. Should have bought both in October. Not sure why you guys are taking offense. I’m just looking at results from the two CV impacted earnings and saying that I think TDOC didn’t blow the doors off like ZM. That’s why I said initial look seems disappointing. After ZM reported that much of a beat, I would think the street would be thinking something similar from TDOC because fairly or not they have been moving in tandem and in February/March moving against the market in tandem.
And, of course, up 3+% this morning.

Just trying to get a good enough run in DKNG to get out of it and free up some cash but every time it starts gaining momentum these morons in the MLB screw it up with another outbreak.

I'd be stressed owning DKNG.  In the short term, it's hard to imagine the stock rising but there is plenty of risk of it falling..  More negative Covid stories are inevitable.

Yep. I find it odd that the Dow would be leading the day as well. More shut downs is bad for a business like Disney. I know FSLY and LVGO ran up a ton and need to take a breather but I was shocked that two companies who actually benefit from work from home/social distancing who have both raised guidance during the pandemic would get whacked now and Disney would go up.

Sept $65s around $8.50
I ended up following this as the price ran down, and I wrote 2 Jan '21 $60s for $13 per, in addition to nibbling at a position just under $74. So far so good. So thanks for that.

Finally dipped in to some ZM on that dip today.
Zoom Video Communications Shares Drop 2.6% on Letter From Sens. Blumenthal, Hawley Asking DOJ to Probe Company

Is this going to be one of those #### shows, where Eric Yuan has to go in front of Congress and tell them he has nothing to do with the fact that Blumenthal can't figure out how to Skype his granddaughter on the Facetimes?

Good call on NET (so far!).  Wish I bought more this morning already.

No worries. They should continue to be fine. Pretty sure Q2 earnings will be solid.

Love days like today where I’m way up over the market. Bought LVGO in June and it’s up 100% now. FSLY up over 400%. Made a ton on that one as I bought a decent share and bought more when it hit $11 in March.

Plan to keep them for a while.

Bought some NVCR yesterday pre earnings, up nicely today. Missed a couple while I was driving up to NY that reported before the bell yesterday. I dumbly assumes after the bell. Missed out on 10-15% gains on both.

Hmm, still hasn't happened for me at Merrill. I had forgotten about the split.

@Whyatt's HGEN making a run at @General Malaise's record with Cobalt as the worst play in Stock Thread History.

Anyone cutting bait with the 25% **** kick, or we riding this Titanic to the sea floor?

If I want to invest in quantum computing and industrial hemp, are there any good stocks I might look at?
Sounds like a great combo.

I've been pretty happy with LRNZ, but I'm generally more into ETFs than individual companies unless I put the time into knowing the company.

Put a few bucks into TDOC a couple weeks ago. I'm a believer in telemedicine as an industry.
I bought this at like $18 and was thrilled to sell it at around $32 or so maybe a year later.

The recent posts made me go back and look for this which was a whole lot of fun!
