Kinda sorta wish I didn't unload 80% of my AMD like a month ago.
Yea... nice bump today. Glad I have held. Biggest return in my portfolio. Up 2137% on it. The sucky thing is back when I bought it (a long time ago) I meant to buy NVIDIA as well and somehow didn't... I think I out in a strike prove that missed and then never followed up by thought I did in my head. When it started blowing up I went in and was like "where is it"? but at least I got AMD and have not sold.
I too sold too early on AMD

Hey, if you start counting the woulda coulda shouldas in this endeavor, it'll eat you alive. Human nature is a terrible burden to bear.

Seriously... the I swear the time I have not bought that ended up being big are a lot.

NVIDIA was the biggest but there have been some missed other winners.

Happy AMD has helped me have a respectable return along with recent acquisitions of AVAV and KTOS boosting my second biggest long term hold of COST which has just been a steady win. I bought that when Amazon bought Whole Foods and Costco stock dropped significantly. Thought that was one odlf the dumbest things ever and took a position... so that has been a while but over 500% return on that.

Anyone looking into the autonomous trucking sector? It seems the big players are AUR (used to be a SPAC 🤮), Waymo (private), and Kodiak AI (KDK). This area seems ripe for disruption, but I haven't seen a massive amount about this area.

After NKLA I've lost trust in this area. Will follow though because I want to believe in this tech and how much we need it.

Seems like most of the activity is driven by Softbank's news. But if they're just going to plow the cash back into OpenAI then it hasn't really left NVDA.
coreweave seems to be hit hard based on the data center news. But todem always said it was never a good value until it got below 100 or closer to 80 or 85.

looks like they lowered their guidance
Are we buying CRWV?
Are we buying CRWV now? Looks like a falling knife.

To be fair NKLA was a pretty bold scam. AUR has trucks actually driving in Texas (real routes, real cargo). Not sure about the others, so was starting to look into this.

I sold off a little AMD a couple of days ago before Lisa Su's bullishness about the future. I definitely trust what she is saying though.

I'm going to watch it for a while and if we get a decent pullback, I'm going to load up more. Feel like we have a lot of time and there will be better buying opps down the road.

All Cisco Systems does of late is deliver, with this most recent breakout, coupled with a yield of 2.25%, just grazing by. Such a good girl.

She's like a pet Brontosauras cruising around your garden, with fertilizer to boot.

Extinct?
Doubling up AMZN the last 5 years, and that's not including the dividends.
Would you just look at this little Brontosaurus Rex out there grazing along, bad weather and all?

Reaching all-time highs, gapping up on another breakout, up over 4% on the day. God bless this lovable big lug, along with his droppings/yield all over the garden.

Disney getting destroyed today. Gotta love it. Buy now and sell after they reach a deal.
Their 5 year and 10 year charts are in the red. Never going back to them.

What would be a catalyst to buy right now? I tried DIS once, lost money and bailed. I have no desire to return but am curious what would compel a person to buy right now.
One of the best decisions I made this year was selling 100% of my disney at a lost and buying NVDA when both were in the low 100's.

Similar reasons to why you bought in, I presume. People with kids that can't stop consuming everything Disney. Endless supply of those, too. That demographic fits right in the wheelhouse of Investing 101. Until they don't. And god I hate the "Until it [doesn't happen]" thing, sorry, couldn't help it.

Team no Disney. Bought it during the pandemic. Vaccine. People in parks. $50 hot dogs. Stock goes up. Before going right back down. @Capella Nice charts GB

Of course this means something happens like the Saudis get bored with golf and buy Disney for 50x.
