What is everyones strategy on starting pitching? My SP is half struggling half decent. Start everyone for the week? Pick and choose?

Runs ®, Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Total Bases (TB), Batting Average (AVG), On-base Percentage (OBP)

Pitchers Stat Categories:

Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP), Strikeouts per Walk Ratio (K/BB), Quality Starts (QS)

Good news is you gave the categories, but tough to give an answer without1) Pitchers on your team?2) How many do you play each week?3) How many bench spots4) League format and # teamsThese all affect your strategy thus any answer

Thanks.....still not sure I understandYou have seven SP and two closers and you can play whatever min you want as long as you get 18 IP from them?So the only categories that more SP help you are K and QS?You can win ERA/WHIP and maybe K/BB and Sv by using your two closers and selected 2-3 SP?Is the 18 IP daily?or minimum for the week?sorry just not clear on these rules (and frankly H2H in general)But sounds like you should be playing matchups and limiting #SPAlso you need to watch the waiver wire - you have several SP who are teetering off the edge, esp Lohse and CahillBillingsley is unpredictable as is JiminezBasically you have Chacin to play every week or start and Buccholz most of the time and play matchups for the rest. Stauffer and almost any other Padre starter should be rostered (or streamed) for home starts as should any of the Seattle starters

But sounds like you should be playing matchups and limiting #SP

Billingsley is unpredictable as is Jiminez

Basically you have Chacin to play every week or start and Buccholz most of the time and play matchups for the rest.

Stauffer and almost any other Padre starter should be rostered (or streamed) for home starts as should any of the Seattle starters

forgot to mention I have peavy on the DL. he worth the stash? i cold use the DL spot as prado just landed their.

I would kick Peavy to the curb and DL Prado -spot is too valuable for a maybe guy
