**Streaming Defense 2015** Week 15 - Playoffs: No time to get cute (1 Viewer)

Through Week 7 - Most FF Points Allowed to DT:

  1. Tennessee Titans vs. DEF
  2. Cleveland Browns vs. DEF
  3. Jacksonville Jaguars vs. DEF
  4. San Diego Chargers vs. DEF
  5. Denver Broncos vs. DEF
  6. Dallas Cowboys vs. DEF
  7. Seattle Seahawks vs. DEF
  8. Buffalo Bills vs. DEF
  9. Houston Texans vs. DEF
  10. Detroit Lions vs. DEF

For week 8 in one league, mulling over Panthers (who I already own, & playing great; vs. Colts on MNF), Vikings (@ Bears, who are coming off a BYE) or the aforementioned Lions (in London vs. Chiefs & check-down-but-rarely-to-Kelce Alex Smith).

I think I might stick with the Steelers in week 8.,

Feels like it's gonna be a smash mouth division game in Pitt with big ben back, Pitt also plays at home against OAK and CLE in 9/10.

Both starting CBs left the game last week. Gay (shoulder) is looking doubtful.

I'll probably roll with GB. Would with yours as well. Titans have been playing well on D but it's still the Titans. Offense is going to be pitiful

Nothing good in my 16-teamer. I picked up Giants last week, which turned out great, and if I can't get anyone on waivers I may just roll them out again vs. NO, but I don't love the match-up.

Targeting Cinci, although they've mostly been coasting on rep all year, and maybe Tenn vs Houston.

God theres nobody available in my league. I dropped Cincy last week and will just pick them back up. They have some good matchups coming up and Ill just suck it up vs Pit this week. Theyve been kind of meh all year

The nice thing about grabbing Cincy is they play the Browns at home next Thursday.

GB and Atl both gone? Both were available in my 16T last week.

Yeah, I'm just waiting to see who gets dropped this week. Seems like teams are hoarding def now -- Team I'm playing this week has Rams and Broncos, hoping she drops Rams, but I doubt it --

Currently got Panthers against Colts on MNF. The Monday Night element makes me nervous but the Colts seem like they're on the verge of folding and the Panthers DST has been almost matchup proof to this point. Not quite, but close enough for a shaky Colts offense. I think that's my plan and I'm sticking to it.

Yeah both gone. People like hording two defenses in this stupid league. 18 of the 32 defenses are rostered and its a 12 team league.

Packers were dropped during their bye. Do folks here consider them an every-week starter? Maybe just at home? I've been rolling with the Vikings since their bye with decent results, but perhaps the Pack could be my ticket out of the stream?

Yeah, was just looking at their schedule ROS. Other than Pitt twice and NE, they do not face a defense that is currently worse than 10th in terms of FFPA.

I think Cinci is a very good NFL defense that hasn't put up good fantasy numbers for most of the season, but based on talent + match-ups, I think they're worth holding. Ideally you have other options for the three tough match-ups, but if not it's still probably worth taking the hit this week just to have them on your roster.

Great question. I guess I'll play matchups with them and Atlanta, but I think either would be pretty safe to start for most of the season

Going Tennessee. Houston is a mess right now. Tenn held Atlanta to 10 points. Garbage time points may worry me, but don't think Tenn has a good enough offense to go up big anyways. I smell a 14-13 game.

I'm also sticking to and playing the Panthers in one league - probably will stick with them the rest of the year.

In another league I have the Falcons plugged in but just saw that NE got dropped. Hmmm...Falcons or Patriots will be my dilemma?

Thoughts on Miami this week (gulp) and ROS? Bills on bye and not very impressive and the cupboard is bare on the wire but the 'phins are chilling there. I think their 4 points over 3 weeks earlier is scaring everyone. That team could return...

Anybody starting Denver versus GB?

Don't really like my choices. Plus I'd have to drop a WR5/6 (LaFell or Tate.) - we start 3 plus a flex, still have a couple bye weeks to cover.

What do you guys think out of these options? I guess Atlanta at home or Minnesota on the road are the best choices.

New York NYG - DEF Sun 1:00 pm @ NO
Atlanta Atl - DEF Sun 1:00 pm vs TB
Minnesota Min - DEF Sun 1:00 pm @ Chi
Tennessee Ten - DEF Sun 1:00 pm @ Hou
Cleveland Cle - DEF Sun 1:00 pm vs Ari
Cincinnati Cin - DEF Sun 1:00 pm @ Pit
New Orleans NO - DEF Sun 1:00 pm vs NYG
Tampa Bay TB - DEF Sun 1:00 pm @ Atl
Indianapolis Ind - DEF Mon 8:30 pm @ Car

Interesting. I may do the same as there's not much out there --

Minnesota versus Chicago?

After a slow start they played well versus Detroit last week.
Probably the right call here. Chicago has given up the 4th most points to DSTs in our format, and they've got the gift of Nick Foles right after that. As a bonus consideration our league awards points for yards allowed (MIN is top ten) and return yardage - Chcago has given up over 600 yards to kick returners including a couple kickoff TDs.

ASIDE - It'll feel cathartic to drop Tate. Cordarelle a year ago @ 5.01, Golden @ 4.08 this year. Boy do I suck at finding a 3rd WR in a draft.

In one league I have to roll ALT as nothing else is on the wire. Quite nervous as there was thought that the WASH D was a nice play last week and then TB ran and passed with consistency. The Falcons just feel like a team that has some gaps and these are the type of games that can make or break mo jo.

I think this is the kind of week where, if you don't love any of the WW options, you just roll with Denver and hope for the best. At least it's not in GB.

Well, I didn't get Cinci, so I guess I'm stuck with the Giants for at least another week. NO has actually been a tough out for fantasy Ds this year, and they seem to be steadily improving. Guess I just have to hope the Giants can pick Brees off a couple times.

Tennessee at Houston looks the best.
I wanna do this because there isn't much available and Hou w/o Foster -- but what concerns me is Tenn off gives up the most points to defense --

I really want to stick with the Falcons just because they have SF next week. Picked them up last week for Tenn and got me a decent total, and planned to play for 3 weeks. But I do need every point I can get this week, so wondering if I should switch to Det, KC or Ten.

Need to see it against a decent team. Their last two weeks have been solid, but also against some of the easiest teams to rack up fantasy points against.

Intrigued by KC. Not sure how good they are on D, but they've got lots of good matchups the rest of way.
Same here. I've been from Minny to Tenn., to Houston, and now I'm leaning KC. The Lions are going to pass A LOT with sacks up for grabs.

Man Chicago's defense is so bad. :(

There's that nagging feeling that Peyton went into the lab on the bye to figure out how to get around his deficiencies and comes out guns blazing.
