I made it 2 episodes, but found that none of it interested me. Not the characters, not the plot. Found no reason to keep going and haven't missed it.

funny- we just started watching this last night (2 episodes in).
lots of cat and mouse, never really knowing who's-who with some good acting and actors. one big eye-rolling incident so far, which almost made us stop watching. we'll definitely go for the third episode and hope for no more three's company moments.
speaking of three's company... that netflix show in the FL Keys... whole thing seems pretty much based on people not talking to each other or misunderstanding the second hand communication. Mr Furley did that part better.

Be careful of those 80's movies. Goonies and Karate Kid have cussing. Just a heads up, I tend to let my kids watch them when they come on TV instead. Saves me from the wife's Evil Eye.

I don't get hung up on swear words so much.
Although, they recently got a Katy Perry CD and choreographed a whole dance to "Let Me See Your Peacock" and I was kinda disturbed.

Very cheesy movie but a good sense of adventure and mystery for kids at that age.

Finished the first episode. Very impressed. Top-notch production design. MG is great in it.
Terribly marketed on Netflix.
Did the incident happen in the first episode? Because I was fine with what happened.

Agree - I liked her, but overall the movie was ok IMO. Gave it 3 stars. When I was a teenager and in my 20s I probably would have given it 4 stars but as I have gotten older I am not really into ultra-gory movies.Loved the lead chick in You're Next. So badass.

We're about 6 or 7 in... handful of writing-related wtfs that kinda drive everything plotwise, but ulitmately don't ruin what otherwise is very, very good. at least not yet.
First episode, how the kid is so easily kidnapped from what would be a pretty security heavy theater was pretty eye-rolling.
Later- one of the most recognized, rich, scions of hated by palestinians jewish family decides to just roll around in Gaza without the slightest concern or support.
She does a ton of due-diligence on ####... but then just buys that Shlomo is bad on a say-so... and again, later, after she's already been proven wrong, she accepts evidence that doesn't directly tie him to the wire sniffer.
It's a handful of these things- not a ton- but they were distractingly frustrating in the moment. ultimately, they drive the plot in good ways... and again, the rest is handled really well, so none of them have been deal-breakers.

just started watching Outkasts- UK sci-fi series from a few years ago. A little slow in the first episode, but has a bunch of my favorte themes, plus a BSG actor or two. will probably dive in regardless, but is the show worth watching?

Finishing up the first season of Death in Paradise. Scotland Yard detective gets transferred to Carribean to investigate Homocides. The characters are interesting along with twists. Still your typical crime drama. Big fan of the actor who plays Duane who was the Cat in Red Dwarf.

So just finished up Bloodline
Overall, for the story, production and most of the acting I have to give it a 3.5 out of 5..
Biggest complaint is the "Fast Forward" scenes.. REALLY took away from the suspense.. and dropped it from a 4 to a 3.5

Right off the bat you know Danny is going to die and that John is involved.. so the final fight on the beach was VERY anti-climatic..
Then the last episode starts 3 weeks after the kill, showing us what John, Kevin and Meg are up to.. Again, took away any suspense on "Do they get away with it" that the rest of the last episode was about.

i don't think it the way they structured the story over the episodes was the problem for me. it just didn't add up to more than the sum of its parts. great cast, solid writing and a good idea of mostly squandered.
the gf and i wanted something light and easy. reached for another of those very light british films and settled on "miss pettigrew lives for a day". frances mcdormand, amy addams and cirian hinds along with a few other brits. it was just fine as a light period comedy. Amy Addams was hella cute in this too playing a floozy.

We tried this one because my wife loves Doc Martin and I am a BBC fanboy. But after 2 episodes she said "We don't ever need to watch that again" and I agreed. Just thought it was too cheesy and could already see the episodic formula.

Finished this- would recommend.
It's as if Homeland was written by non-hacks, with solid actors and directors with an Israel/Palestine focus. now... there was a lot of MG crying (similar to CD's quivering lower lip) which was cringey and a couple of annoying plot conveniences/devices, but overall good stuff, IMO.

We see Meg in New York being interviewed for the job, Jon being told he is being considered for the Sheriff job..
Now we go back 3 weeks. and any suspense on whether they will get caught trying to dispose of the body is out the door..

Danny is in Meg's trunk and she gets pulled over for swerving..
Absolutely no suspense on whether the cop would find the body or not.

I didn't mind the Flash Forwards throughout the series.. Did take away a little from the 2nd to last episode as you knew how the fight would end.
I guess it was the last episode that bothered me the most..

all and all I enjoyed the series and am looking forward to Season 2.It'll be interesting to see if they can sustain this for season 2. Feels like this would have been perfect as a one season arc.

I just watched the first episode of Black Mirror, and it was one of the most entertaining hours of TV I've seen in a while. Highly recommended.

Some of these are better than others.
The one with the couple who can play back memories in their head - that was the best one I remember. The one where everyone has to cycle on stationary bikes was the worst one.
Overall, though - entertaining show.

Watched the first episode of Narcos last night. I wanted to like it. There's potential there with the actors and subject matter for sure. The narration was a bit too much though. Does that lessen as the show progresses?
