based on a 2013 short film of the same name. Haven't seen the new one so possible spoilers I would think.

I’m slogging through The Rain, almost done and I don’t know why I am. It’s not good and not horrible, but I’ll finish it just because. I have no idea if there’ll be a season 2 and unless I stumbled upon it I’d likely not watch it.I did better than ten minutes with The Rain, maybe 20. I just started The Method - Russian crime drama, hot law school graduate goes into police work to solve a very personal cold case. She's hot and so are some of her classmates. She's hot when she's angry. I'm 6 minutes and 42 glorious seconds into e1.16 episodes? Absolutely.
Great short film. It's what got my wife and I into the zombie genre and started watching The Walking Dead.based on a 2013 short film of the same name. Haven't seen the new one so possible spoilers I would think.
kids might enjoy it? i'm trying to build a list for my boy...It's Amazon -sorry- but The Tick was a fun watch in spite of nebbish Arthur. Title character was fantastic, as well as the terror and lint. Very recommend.
And it's BBC America, but again Killing Eve has been consistently good so far.
A lot of grown-up swearing and some themes built into the silliness. I think my almost 11yo might enjoy it, and he's certainly hearing worse from Mom.kids might enjoy it? i'm trying to build a list for my boy...
I'm on Episode 2 right now and digging it.And it's BBC America, but again Killing Eve has been consistently good so far.
Great until Eve got out of the car to talk to Villanelle. Then, meh. It's Amazon -sorry- but The Tick was a fun watch in spite of nebbish Arthur. Title character was fantastic, as well as the terror and lint. Very recommend.

Hated that. But the rest has been good. Really enjoy villanelle and her handler.Great until Eve got out of the car to talk to Villanelle. Then, meh.
yesterday I guess. Watched it last night. It was cool but very little new information for long-time Stern fans. A couple details that I didn't know exactly, but no types of revelations or anything. When does Howard come on Letterman? BABABOOEY!
Watched first ep last night. Accent was freaking me out. Didn't really care for it, a bit too stylized and heavy-handed. Not really a mystery guy, though, so that part of it doesn't really matter to me.Yeah... Did the unravelling of the truth thing with just enough hints to keep you rightly and wrongly guessing along the way. Ended well too. I didn't live this, but thought it was consistent and decently done even if I kept wondering why Dexter was talking funny.
Floppinho went all in on GF while it was on. First show he became a legit fan of- bought books and stuff."Gravity Falls" has been introduced to me and my boy. Terrific animated series in the vein of "Phineas and Ferb". I recognized the distinct voice of the grandfather from "Rick and Morty" instantly and sat down with my boy to watch two episodes already.
Eta - on Hulu.
Agreed! I would love to find another show that has a similar feel.I wrapped up Halt and Catch Fire last night. Really good show start to finish. Verged into melodrama, but the characters and writing kept it from getting into trouble. Solid recent history/zeitgeist where the characters and big picture story arcs pulled me in for good. Highly recommend.
You act all holier than thou, but you have just as many holes as the rest of us.
Yes...I thought the same.Anyone else get the feeling the narrator had a "thing" for the main character?
My boys were in to this, and we tried watching them together. I LOVED the first season. Some of the supporting cast of characters were top notch. However, I probably had too high of expectations and became frustrated with the storyline as it progressed through the seasons, and didn't make it to the end."Gravity Falls" has been introduced to me and my boy. This needs its own thread. I'm only four episodes in, but it's an awesome show.Very raunchy, but good. The main actress/creator of Fleabag has another brand new show on BBC America if you have access to it (I get it via sling). She's not in it but created and writes for it called "Killing Eve". First episode was very good imo... It's about a female cop and the female assassin she's after. It's on Sundays but I saw on demand thru sling.
No, I think he may have subtly played that card with her to get info. She seemed to think what they had was a friendship, but he was definitely using her.But the narrator told us about 3 times she was in something like the top 20 of her high school class. Certified Genius.

Where are you guys watching this? It's not free on Amazon Prime. This needs its own thread. I'm only four episodes in, but it's an awesome show.
I'm three episodes in. Agreed - "Killing Eve" is great. This needs its own thread. I'm only four episodes in, but it's an awesome show.
It's on BBC America. peaces said he gets it on Sling. I get it on DirecTV. It’s also available on bbcamerica.com (online or through their app) and AMC (through their app).Where are you guys watching this? It's not free on Amazon Prime.

Yeah my oldest was a big fan of this, even had a Gravity Falls themed birthdayFloppinho went all in on GF while it was on. First show he became a legit fan of- bought books and stuff.
Loved this one. Not on here though...The Disney Movie Coco is on for kids.
I like Fire, but definitely start with Bloodline.Looking for a new drama to start. Based on discussions in here I think top choices are Bloodline, Halt and Catch Fire, and Fortitude.
Any thoughts?
Fortitude was fun, and short- more of an adventure/mystery. Halt Fire more immersive drama. Bloodline...don't remember that one- in FL?...I think I bailed on it.Looking for a new drama to start. Based on discussions in here I think top choices are Bloodline, Halt and Catch Fire, and Fortitude.

You shouldn't have.Bloodline...don't remember that one- in FL?...I think I bailed on it.
Didn't like it. I'm already watching enough crap I don't really like.You shouldn't have.
Yeah. It's horrible. There’s this new movie called “ Righteous kill” starring The Godfather and the Cab driver.
I watched one episode of Bloodline and that was enough. Nothing there grabbed my attention. May revisit at some point but not in any hurry.Looking for a new drama to start. Based on discussions in here I think top choices are Bloodline, Halt and Catch Fire, and Fortitude.

have you see Sopranos, BB, The Wire, Mad Men, Deadwood, The Shield, Fargo?Looking for a new drama to start. Based on discussions in here I think top choices are Bloodline, Halt and Catch Fire, and Fortitude.

I enjoyed it start to finish.I liked Bloodline S1 a lot but couldn’t fully get into S2.
also Linda Cardellini![]()
I’ll probably pick S2 back up at some pointI enjoyed it start to finish.![]()
Not interested in Halt. Fortitude is a kick.
All but Mad Men (not interested) or The Shield (keep forgetting about it; is it streamable?)have you see Sopranos, BB, The Wire, Mad Men, Deadwood, The Shield, Fargo?
I'm a sucker for police dramas lately so it probably appealed to me a little more than most. I could not get into Babylon Berlin and I'm sure it's better tv for most.I’ll probably pick S2 back up at some point
I’ll have to check out Fortitude
also trying to finish Babylon Berlin
My nephew, a media consumption monster, insisted I watch Mad Men and The Wire for a few years before I caved and watched The Wire. Doh, that's about as good as tv gets. So I caved again and watched Mad Men saying exactly what you said above. I'm just not interested in this topic. It was a great watch and I've gone back and rewatched a few episodes here and there. All but Mad Men (not interested) or The Shield (keep forgetting about it; is it streamable?)
