Well season 1 was like 5 episodes so that one was in the top 5 at that time lol
My point was that I was hoping for comments like Warrior's where that was the worst episode by a mile, and saw people have other episodes ranked lower than that one in just the 1st 4-5 episodes.

have heard good things about Orphan Black - 5 seasons on Amazon Prime https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B00BVYNSLC/ref=atv_dp_season_select_atf

Fringe? - 5 seasons on Amazon Prime via IMDB free dive (with ads) https://www.amazon.com/Fringe-The-Complete-First-Season/dp/B001FVV2X2
I love Orphan Black, but fully admit it got a bit hokey.  Still worth it to watch the lead actress juggle that many roles.
100% Maslany was amazing.  I literally believed every one of her iterations, I think.  Also loved the humor throughout that lightened it up and made it that much more fun.

ETA: Also meant to say, we really liked Fringe as well.  Neither OB or Fringe are BSG worthy (one of my favorite shows ever) or even similar, but they are good enough shows in their own rights.

Giving "The Good Place" a shot. I'm 4 episodes in and jury is still out, going to give it some rope since I've heard good things.
Excellent show.  Very clever, very funny.  And Danson is fantastic.

Is this on Hulu? I never got a notification it was up.
Yes. S2 just dropped about a week or so ago.

ETA - assuming you meant Atlanta; Lodge 49 also dropped earlier this month too.

Now I am truly frightened.  I just scanned 5-6 websites ranking the Black Mirror episodes after a google search.  I think the lowest for National Anthem was 12 and a couple had it in the top 3.

:porked:

Way behind the times.  I have never seen Black Mirror, and watched 2 episodes last night.  One I thought was one of the better things I have watched in awhile, and one was one of the worst.  The National Anthem was the one I didn't like at all, and I am scared to go on after peeking at the 1st page of the Black Mirror thread and seeing it ranked fairly high for the first 4-5 episodes.
They're all different.  Keep going.

Stop over-analyzing and just ####ing watch.

Actually enjoyed Polar. Knew it was based on a graphic novel going in, so expected some brainless entertainment, which it was. Cyndee was worth it, too.

Just watched it. Thought it was ok. Not terrible.

I'll watch the sequel.

This velvet buzzsaw movie is a mix of a horror movie that isn't scary with all the typical bad cliches and a satire of the art industry that's way over my head.

I would like to hear reviews on what I have in the queue

the rain

when heroes fly

dark

What still remains
Just started When Heroes Fly

Loving it.  It's an Israeli series (we've been watching in the original Hebrew with subtitles) and I've really enjoyed it.  3 episodes left to go out of 10.

Saturday night is movie night at our place. My son loves cars and I showed him a clip of the car chase from classic "Bullitt". He loved it and asked to see it. It showed on Prime as available and then disappeared. Annoying. So I'm like, "Let's try "Gone in 60 Seconds" with Nic Cage because it's a parade of cool cars and we rent it. We're like 10 minutes into it and he's like "it looks too scary", which I'm totally about. His mom let him watch like 3 of the F & F movies but whatever. Instead he opts for "Solo" and I'm reminded of just how weak that film is. It's just so boring and obvious in the storytelling. Nevermind the guy playing Han as the charm and charisma of a thumbprint. Give me "Rogue One" anytime

It's gotten to the point where Netflix isn't really worth it anymore IMO.  They keep raising prices to fund their original programming, but their original movies and shows mostly suck.  Plus, once Disney removes their content from Netflix, that will result in the loss of a lot of the quality movies and shows, making Netflix's value even worse.   If their original movies and shows were good I would be much more OK with their prices, but at this point I'm leaning towards Amazon Prime over Netflix since you at least get other value from Amazon.  I'm probably leaving Netflix after Disney takes away their content or when Netflix raises their prices again.  Whichever is sooner.

Yeah their original programming has definitely fallen off a cliff lately.
unfortunately I have noticed this as well.  Will still keep it but their quality is hand scratching lately.

I heard great things about Maniac and finally watched it.  Wanted to quit halfway through but pushed myself to finish it and I am still wondering what I just watched.

Have you watched the original "Gone in 60 seconds"? That has some insane car chases. Totally cheesy,  but so much better then the Cage remake.

Other another great car movie from the 70's.  Vanishing point. Barry Newman is incredible plus Cleavon Little as Super Soul, the blind DJ

Got through three episodes and decided I wasted enough time on it. Had some promise but didn't go anywhere.

Velvet Buzzsaw was another horrible Netflix movie. Waste of two hours.
We really were excited for this movie after watching the trailer, but this movie was not good at all. Too much “art-speak”, not enough scares and just a mess. It actually took my wife and I two nights to finish it.
