Street hits the DL (1 Viewer)

Rotoworld . .

Justin Duchscherer will be used as Oakland's primary closer while Huston Street is out, manager Bob Geren said.

Duchscherer was planning to request a break for his sore hip, but that's not going to happen now. Even if he is struggling some, he should be picked up in all formats.

Street out with the same injury as Josh Johnson. Going to be at least a couple months.
I shouldn't say this so "matter of factly" as it hasn't been released. I read on another board Latroy Hawkins came back the fastest from this nerve injury - 1 month later.

Street has a setback...

Huston Street (elbow) reportedly suffered a setback and has been shut down after experiencing pain when he played catch Friday.

Street is expected to seek a second opinion on his elbow after initially being diagnosed with no structural damage to the ligament by Dr. Lewis Yocum. The San Francisco Chronicle suggests that Street returning before the All-Star break now "seems unlikey" and reports that surgery is an option.
