Subscribe to FBG but no longer Play FF? (1 Viewer)

Thinking about ending my FF career - not that long, but not short at about 15 years.

Still thinking about subscribing because I am still interested in Football and like the content from an interest point (plus, there still would be the contest)

So - anyone here subscribe but don't play FF?

I'm not seeing the point of subscribing (ducks as Joe throws a brick at me) but I could see staying active on the boards.

I agree with FUBAR. If I were to "retire" from FF I might possibly return to my lurker/infrequest poster role on the FFA, but that would be it.

I think it depends on why you'd be quitting?if it is to have more time for yourself/family/job, then you may just want to walk away entirely. If you are burned out, then yes, you may want to take a complete break, and see where you stand a year or 2 from now....Either way, Good Luck on your decision bro

If you have any thoughts of maybe coming back in a couple of years, then I think it would be worth it. Honestly, if you went into a time capsule and had to draft three years from now, everyone that takes FF seriously would be a little lost and make that first year back kind of rough.

Guilty as charged. Played in zero money leagues last year.1. Subscribr contest.2. Post season subscriber contest.3. Carry my weight for the bandwidth I chew up.4. Survivor draft n' go leagues.5. Enjoy reading the content when I have time to kill.

I don't consider draft n' go's true FF. More like contests.

Men in Afghanistan who have sex with other men don't consider themselves homosexual (or bi) either :excited: They may not be what the OP meant he may give up, they don't require near the time commitment. The contests are a good reason to keep the subscription.
