Suggs Fails Physical, Trade Now Void

New York Jets head coach Eric Mangini announced Tuesday that Lee Suggs, who was

acquired a day before in a trade with Cleveland, failed his physical. The trade

is now void and defensive back Derrick Strait will return to New York.

"In terms of trade, Lee Suggs failed his physical," said Mangini. "Pursuant to

any trade that is now void, Derrick Strait will be coming back here today and

Lee

will return to the Browns. It's just one of those things that happens. We had of

a

process in place medically to make sure that every player we bring in can be

able

to perform and it's pretty standard operating procedure.

 Browns tried to pull a fast one! That's why they were willing to let him go for a CB!

:lmao: :lmao:

Now what? I assume the Jets have decided to bring in another guy, and we now have a sense of what sort of guy they are looking for and what they might be willing to give up. So who else is available in this tier?

Musa Smith

Travis Henry (but drug issues)

Quentin Griffin

Artose Pinner

Mwelde Moore (just moved behind Fason on the depth chart)

Nick Goings

Marcel Shipp

Kevan Barlow

Or will they step up to the next tier now?

This is interesting. I've often wondered what you do to fail a physical.

High blood pressure?

Can't get off the floor?

Can't do a pushup?

Doctor's finger can't get in?

What exactly goes on in these "physicals"?

NFL <> fantasy footballCB's are worth far more than RB's in the NFL.

It won't be Musa Smith - reports in Baltimore have him locking up the # 2 RB spot behind Jamal Lewis

What about LaBrandon Toefield? It seems like he could do the job, he's had a good camp and is definitely expendable on the JAX roster.

Well atleast i was trying to do right, i offered him to about everyone for a high future pick.....they wont get me with that fluke stuff this offseason....IM SELLING
