By the way, I'm fully convinced that CrossEyed2 is Eminence. The absolute humorlessness, the megalomania that comes through even in his aliases. Watch out on the boards. Don't give any personal information up. He's not a good dude.

Isn't CrossEyed2 CrossEyed? Or was CrossEyed also an alias of Eminence? And why not just put all these people on ignore and forget about them?

Eminence has been around since I have, at least. CrossEyed is only about five years old. Ignore is different when all your friends are chasing wabbits and getting suspended because of aliases.

Not a good dude.

I think CrossEyed was around a lot longer than 5 years ago. He was in the hockey threads going way back.

His original leaving and long length of time not being here could surely be explained by the emergence of Eminence and his aliai.

Wow. They nuked my thread and left CrossEyed2's there.

That's saying something, I guess. I guess we know what this is all about these days. I'm not long for this ####.

Is that why I can't find it?  Jerks.
I was just commenting on your March Of Dimes comment. I've started a new thread. If they nuke that one, we'll know they're anti-vax. I'm starting a pro-vaccination effort thread. Anyway, they've been doing that with my comments and threads lately. CrossEyed2 and TripItUp have both been given preference, even though they've spread terrible information both about vaccines and football, respectively. They're not even close to anything but pretty much bad faith.

this is a site that allowed one of its owners to spread lies about child molestations - so it’s not shocking they’ve let the anti-vaxxers run wild and then claim “victim” when they get push back.

WTF?  A private explanation would be appreciated.
David Dodds was one of the biggest promulgators of Pizza-Gate, when that was a thing. If you don’t remember what Pizza Gate was - the cliff notes version is that Hillary Clinton and some other high ranking Democrats were running a child sex trafficking ring from the basement of a DC pizza parlor.

Unfortunately I suspect that the powers that be would rather shut down the boards than adopt a "remove all posts that spread misinformation" policy -- as likely would any forum that doesn't have the resources of Facebook, Twitter or Reddit.

I’m not really asking for that to happen - but maybe the “warnings” should be given to both sides. It seems the anti-vaxxers are the biggest whiners who run to the mods after they threw the stink bomb into the bathroom.

This about sums it up.  I'm infuriated about this.  Your thread was good, rock.

Btw, CrossEyed definitely not Eminence.  Different brands of crazy.  Warning taken, though.

Added: NY Giants DEF

Dropped: Deshaun Watson

I don't like any waiver wire DEF this week, but I am not letting NO go up against GB and get potentially shredded. I think maybe I'll earn some points via points scored and hope to fall on a fumble or two with a sack or so. Teddy Checkdown doesn't seem like prime turnover points, but the other options are much worse, IMO.

We'll wait to blow our FA budget when Miami acquires Watson.

Anyway, here's The Dictators from 1977 New York. It's perfect for the FFA. But it's about potent science resulting in a horror creature, not the denial of such.

And it has cowbell buried in the mix.

Song: The Dictators - Science Has Gone Too Far

Would only seem fair since so far I'm running out CLE vs. KC
I saw that and wasn't saying anything. Proceed at your own risk? I dunno, I had an extra bench spot to burn this week. I can hold NO for the time being. I just wasn't digging the match-up. I would have picked Carolina a long time ago against the Jets, but something prevented me. Probably brain cramping. Eephus was up to the task on that one.

I figured, Beasley would be back on the covid list by now and I'd have more flexibility.

Quite a sports night up here!!!

Jays/Yankees - can move to only 0.5 back in the wild card race with a win. (they were 6+ back 10 days or so ago)

Canadian Leylah Fernandez in the US Open Semi-Final.

Football is back.

Yeah, I was guessing you were proceeding down that path for a reason. Big game against NV's squad coming up!

Everything Godwin does well helps my dynasty team out, so I'm very, very torn. :oldunsure:

He's ridiculous. In the the last year or so, I've gone from hating to loving him.
Same. Even with the Michigan connection, I have never liked him in the NFL. I was a Woodson fan the BS tuck rule play just made me dislike Brady and from there it got worse and worse. However, I've been loving him as a Buc.

The Dreaded Marco suffered the unfortunate fate of me in my main dyno league. He started Ronald Jones as his second back and wound up with negative points out of his RB slot. That's just ducky.

Tom hasn't lost a thing, sharp as obsidian

Interesting word. I always thought obsidian primarily meant black and smooth.

Anthony Hecht uses it in "Death As A Whore" to describe her crack pipe, IIRC.

"Obsidian-slick," I believe he says.

Obsidian was an answer to a question about sharp tools on one of the episodes of The Chase I watched with my mom last night (we like trivia shows, damn Netflix for removing Jeopardy.

Something like what volcanic stone is now used for fine medical instruments or some such thing.

Yeah, I looked it up. That's why I didn't correct ilov. I was just surprised, is all. I'm still not sure what it means or why Hecht used it that way. He's generally a language master. Perhaps he meant "obsidian black" and "slick." Anyway, I read that during my drug period, so it could be my memory, too.
