@Northern Voice

This is wild. You pointed this out. You have to love the NFL. What an organization. Raise your kids by its edicts. Wholesome ****in' ****.

Yeah, like anyone believes them.

On the other hand, they are having a better day than the NBA.

I changed my laugh emoji because even though you're wryly funny the subject matter is kind of nauseating. Two entities worth billions just lying. Lying all the time. Like, "No conscience but don't worry about us. We're doing fine and we love you, the public!"
I wonder how that conversation at the FBI went. "We're working on a major gambling in the NBA case." "Hey! so are we." "That mafia thing was unexpected." "Mafia? WTF?"

The game fixing thing was covered on a 30 For 30. Think they got the idea there?

Would you please unpack that? I just don’t know what happened. I thought it was a gambling ring with poker and the mafia until this morning. Now it’s like fifty people and the entire NBA is going to prison.

I’ll look too. I don’t want to make you write a book.
Two entirely separate things. It's like getting two different major diseases at the same time. I saw the game fixing scandal in the morning paper, so I thought I knew what the NBA scandal du jour was. Then I saw the mafia thing. I was so confused. Why is there chocolate in my peanut butter?

Now I’m so clueless I can laugh

Definitely owe a few songs. I’m going to look back and try to follow along with the transaction log.

I wonder if Joe has a product where you can dominate your league’s transaction message board. I might sign up for that.

1) Xavier Legette - WR - CAR

"Over The Rainbow" - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

2) Xavier Legette - WR - CAR

"Riot!" - Earl Sweatshirt

"December 24th" - Earl Sweatshirt

Legette's parents passed away before he graduated high school.

These are for him. "Over The Rainbow is self-explanatory.

“Riot!" by Earl Sweatshirt is actually a sample of South African jazz legend, Hugh Masekela, whose music has made several appearances in Earl’s work, particularly in “Earl Sweatshirt Stays Inside” with Red Bull Radio. Masekela passed away in January 2018, only a few weeks after Earl’s father, whose death was a major subject of his record Some Rap Songs, on which this song appears. It is an instrumental. If that's not your style or if you think it avoids the theme, "December 24th" is from the same album and I dig the flow. (Part of this writing/description is directly pulled from the Genius website.)

3) Jaylin Noel - WR - HOU

"a day in a week in a year" - billy woods, Kenny Segal (producer), Mothermary

Jaylin was on London Calling for a day in a week in a year. heh.

Adding random QBs in the hope I can find one that can score more than the 4 points a week Justin Fields gives me.

Kirk Cousins QB, Atlanta Falcons

CJ Stroud, QB, Houston Texans

(Honoring his Ohio State background)

Dropped a very disappointing Falcons defense and overpaid for the Los Angeles Rams for the sole reason of being able to add
the greatest song about L.A. ever.

I also needed to pick up a kicker, and former Temple Owl Brandon McManus was still on the board, so ...

I think we're cycling through the same group of ten free agents every week. I look through the list of today's pickups (and songs) and it seems like most of them have spent time on my roster this year.
Perhaps you should add this to the playlist:
