Sunday Night Flex Scheduling? (1 Viewer)

Even though DAL is still technically "in the hunt", could next week's DAL-PHI be flexed to something else for Sun night?

SEA @ CHI

TB @ DEN

PIT @ BAL

Week 16's SD @ NYJ is pretty much a given swap game. Oof.

They should, but Dallas is probably still a big enough draw that they probably wouldn't want to lose it. Plus, Jerry Jones would throw a fit if he lost a home prime time game.

Also, no way is Balt/Pitt an option. Their first game was already on SNF, and I am sure CBS has a deal where they won't lose the other one.

It isn't like the other games are going to be much better. Pit without Big Ben was an ugly game last time around. TB @ DEN would probably be their best bet but just having Dal/PHI play will drive better ratings. And enjoy it, we get to see the Eagles two weeks in a row. Only disappointment is that both aren't in Philly. The crowd's response would be worth it.

Week 14

Scheduled Sunday Night game: Detroit @ Green Bay

I don't see this one getting changed. Both teams are explosive offensively, and there are a lot of good story lines involved. Other choices aren't much better: Bears-Vikings or Cardinals-Seahawks maybe?

Week 15

Scheduled Sunday Night game: San Francisco @ New England

Would be surprised if they switch this great game. Lost of great games this week, though. Broncos-Ravens, Colts-Texans, Giants-Faclons, and Bucs-Saints. Also, Steelers-Cowboys, though it won't exactly be Super Bowl XIII this time around.

Week 16

Scheduled Sunday Night game: San Diego @ NY Jets

This would be a keeper, if the coach of the losing team were fired on the field at the game's conclusion. Otherwise dump it, though there are not many great options. Giants-Ravens is a very good game, but it's already been protected by Fox. Maybe 49ers-Seahawks? Other choices are Vikings-Texans, Bears-Cardinals, Bengals-Steelers.

Week 17

No game currently scheduled.

Tampa Bay-Atlanta? Though Atlanta could be dumping this game if they already have the #1 seed clinched. Baltimore-Cincy and Houston-Indy are likely to be between a clinched division champ and a team fighting for a Wild Card. Packers-Vikings is possible, but if either Dallas or Washington has a chance to make the playoffs with a win, then the NFL airs the RGIII vs. Cowboys rematch.

that is shocking
Can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic. :) Part of me isn't surprised because it's the Cowboys and they always draw ratings. On the other hand, there are several better game they could have chosen which would also seem to be pretty good bets to have people tuning in. Personally, I think the Bucs-Broncos game could be a shootout and a lot of fun to watch.

no, i was being serious. the eagles are a terrible team. i'm a fan. i posted in the eagles thread after the last dallas game that i was looking ahead and thought 'oh well, that's another 1 p.m. game now.' i mean, the last few eagles games have been downright unwatchable. prime time tonight against the panthers? yuck. prime time against the cowboys? yuck. prime time against the bengals? yuck. all without vick. i mean, who wants to watch? cowboys fans? i wouldn't watch bucs-broncos closely but it's the game that should be in prime time i think. that's the whole concept of flex. to get games that have an impact on the playoff race. eagles-cowboys? not so much.

So Kaepernick gets the spotlight 2 weeks in a row which are probably the 2 toughest road games for the 49ers.

I hope this doesn't turn into a huge disaster for the kid.
