Late Sunday game notes

Darrent Williams is INACTIVE.

Michael Strahan, despite yet another week of participating in individual drills, is inactive again this week.

Shaun Phillips and Shawne Merriman are both expected to go at last report. Luis Castillo is expected to play but may rotate with Jacques Cesaire again this week.





Early Sunday game notes

Shelton Quarles is active for the Bucs.

Todd Johnson is inactive this week despite practicing all week. Chris Harris is a safe start this week. Nathan Vasher is also out.

Bryan Thomas is active for the Jets.

Takeo Spikes, Terrence McGee, and Donte Whitner are active for Buffalo.

Kyle Vanden Bosch is active for the Titans.

Chris Gamble and Ken Lucas are active for Carolina.

Omar Stoutmire is inactive for the Saints. Jay Bellamy is expected to start in his place.

CC Brown is inactive for the Texans today.

Right cornerback Darrent Williams practiced Friday and he will be a game-time decision Sunday at Arizona, Denver coach Mike Shanahan said afterward.

"He looked good, but we'll have to see," Shanahan said.
