Sunday Ticket issues? (1 Viewer)

Did anyone else out there pay for the Sunday Ticket but isn't getting it today? DTV's service let me down again (2nd straight year this has happened to me).

 
I'm getting the ticket, but my local channels (ATL/CARO and NE/NYJ) are down and the phone center at DTV is totally snowed under - can't get through. Just get busy signals since 1 PM ET.

I just sent a very angry email....

It's all working for me. I will admit I was nervous turning it on this morning. After having the free preview last week this week was the true test that they had everything right.

Last thing I wanted to do Sunday morning was be on the phone with DTV.

 
Was having issues with Supercast for about 30 minutes...the games wouldn't load up and play. Everything is working now.

 
Finally, my local channels are back on with 7:30 left in first half of Caro/ATL

This is total BS, I'm gonna ream somebody out when I finally get through to a real live person instead of a busy signal.

Can't blame you. Sunday football watching is too impt to me to be on hold for so long. Like you, I sent a nasty email before my first post. Should get the Game Mix channel for free, at least. I'm just happy my Saints are playing on national TV.Good luck!

I've already been transfered to a busy signal or just disconnected several times.

 
just hung up, sat on hold for 25 minutes for ext 721.

now i'm going to tell them to smb and lmp and cancel my service. waiting for cancellation rep now. #### dtv

after 2 hours on hold or simply disconnected, I got a rep on the line - and THEN I was disconnected as she greeted me.Not lying. :rolleyes: :angry: :hot: :bs: :hot: :rant: :rant:
 
Can't get the superfan download. Told me my air file was bad so I reinstalled Air. Now it says try the download again. Lame.

 
Everything works great for me. Direct TV even sent a hooker with chicken wings over in week one as part of me renewing. :sadbanana:

 
Had the same problem but I have really old equipment. After being on hold most of the morning games got through. Old equipment won't work for Sunday ticket anymore. Plan and simple. They are upgrading me for free to HD DVR and extra HD receiver plus $50($10 a month for 5 months) off for the hassle of missing the morning games. I was on the phone with them so they know I actually missed them. I have been a direct TV customer for over 10 years I believe and they upgraded me because of it and owned that I owned my own equipment. He thanked me for not yelling at them like most of their customers did this morning. If you yell the superviser said they aren't likely to do much for you. Sounds like they are sick of it.

They walked me through reseting the DVR and now it works fine.

Yes, this evening (after 6+ hours of frustration), I got an actual live rep who suggested the free upgrade. New receivers en route. Not a compensation for missing the early games on my big screen (I watched on Supercast on my laptop, but a 6 inch x 6 inch window doesn't allow for much "detailed" observation).IMO the entire IT dept. that sanctioned this "upgrade" should be canned. How is it an "upgrade" to the system if you freeze out customers who've paid for NFL Sunday Ticket for the last 8 years and block their local games with the "upgrade"? It was extremely ill-considered to experiment with broadcast programming in week 2 of the NFL season.MW
