Let's explore this further. The first year with a one and done Montana wasn't hurt and played in 15 games. SF lost their only playoff game to the Giants 17-3 going 26 for 47 with 296 passing yards, 0 TD, and an INT for a 65.6 passer rating.Freelove said:Are you Joe Montana, during the years he was recovering from a back injury so severe experts wondered if he'd ever have full mobility or play pro football again?Or are you just the same idiot who keeps trotting this sadly ignorant material out because you feel insecure and want desperately to believe 30 seconds on pro-football-reference can make up for being clueless about the game and its history?Kool-Aid Larry said:over a 3 year stretch in the prime of my career I was 0-3 in the playoffs, 46/88 52% for 503 total yds with 0 td and 4 picksJercules said:He was like Joe Montana? I guess if you're playing the "moxie" card, sure, but those numbers I just listed are seriously bad for a QB at home in the NFCCG. Joe Montana might have had one or two games in his whole career that were that ugly.
WHO AM I?
sry if I'm peeing on anybody's childhood icons
Sry if I'm peeing on anyone's fragile ego.
The following season Montana got hurt early in the year but cam back to play the final 7 games of the regular season. SF again lost to NYG, this time 49-3 with Montana having to leave the game after going 8 for 15, 98 yards, 0 TD, and 2 INT for a 34.2 QB rating.
The third one and done game in a 36-24 loss to Minnesota after playing in 13 regular season games. 12 of 26 for 109 yards, 0 TD, and 1 pick and a 42.0 passer rating.
The point being that Montana was either healthy enough to play or he wasn't. He played and did not do well. IMO, you can't blame injuries for that.
Where's the proof either cheated? Exactly.
) will you admit you were wrong and NE was the better team?
