Who's going to keep up with all those prop bets and will you know the winner at the end of the game. Never know who's doing what during the game.I like to stick with the old standard grid pool. Makes it all luck so the women who don't know or care about football have an equal chance. The key for us is a beer mug that holds all the money. We payout every quarter, usually with a $500 pot. 1st and 3rd quarters $75. $100 at the half, and $250 for the final winner. The key to make it fun for us is to keep the money in a beer mug. Whoever has 0-0 gets to hold the money to start the game. The money mug moves every time someone scores. If you are still holding it at quarters end , you take out your cut of the money. The women especially like this and become big defensive fans while they are holding the money. Most quarters have some drama involved and everyones trying to figure out who gets it with a FG, TD, etc. We even move it around before and after the extra points. You hand it off to someone whos not paying attetion too well, then as they begin to cheer, snatch it away when the kick is converted.Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide. This has always been fun for our crowd (usually about 75 people). The hard part is deciding how much to sell the spaces for based on your crowd. The first couple of years we went small then ended up having a second pool because the first one filled too fast.
