Louisiana Tech (Bradshaw) was in the Southland Conference from 1971-1986 when those Super Bowls were won, and the Gulf States Conference from 1948-1970 when Bradshaw was there.

A lot of these schools were in different conferences. So Miss, FSU, BYU, Fresno St, WVU, and Lousiville. I don't think Morehead was in the Pioneer when Simms went there either.

Nothing from the Big 8/12? Not ever? ;) Now with the Big 12 Vince Young looks like he's got the best chance to represent the Big 8/12.What about ALL 80 starting Super Bowl QBs, even the losing ones? I know the old Big 8 had the running teams and option QBs who prolly never made a dent in the NFL but I would imagine that somebody from either the Big 8 or 12 must have made it. Kordell Stewart was on the Steeler losing team but he may have been in his SLASH roll rather than as starting QB.
