I'm thinking that it could be similar to the last Super Bowl with the Steelers (vs. the Seahawks). Arizona has never been there before. Pittsburgh knows how to take care of business. Contrasting styles of the two teams couldn't be more different. Arizona's defense is underrated but Pittsburgh's is among the best of all-time. Arizona only gets this many points based on their prolific offense.
Pittsburgh 27
Arizona 17
Pitt cannot play catch-up football, if/when Az gets a 10+ lead on them, this game is over..Az jumps out to early leads and doesn't look back, I'd expect that to continue...Pitt will NOT be able to run the ball effectively, Az has shut down Michael Turner, D' Williams/J. Stewart, and now Brian Westbrook in consecutive weeks. FWP is a chump compared to these other RB's.What I saw yesterday was a Pitt team that left WR's open all over the field, but Flacco made some very poor throws and was off-target..Warner is as precise as anyone who's ever played the game, he's extremely accurate and plays
extremely well in the postseason..
I'll bet a bag of bagels that Ike Taylor gets trounced by Fitz and/or Boldin
I'll take the Whisenhunt/Grimm combo, coaching against their former players and co-workers, any day...
This could be like the Callahan/Gruden SB - TB vs. Oakland, where Gruden seemed to know the Oakland playbook
as if he was in the offensive huddles and knew what they were going to call..
I think Whisenhunt knows the tendencies of this offense and more importantly, knows the tendencies of the Pitt coaching staff,
more than Tomlin knows the Cards ..
should be a GREAT game.
But I'll go with the former employees beating their former employers
Az wins
