Supreme Court Leak A Good Or Bad Thing? (1 Viewer)

I took a look at what sitting members of the Court have said since the leak and only found three. We know Roberts issued a very tight-lipped official statement in which he noted an investigation is underway.

 

Roberts' public comments about the leak have been far from "very tight-lipped."

And when the Chief Justice comes out with such a strong denouncement...it's pretty far-fetched to think that if another justice merely confirmed his thoughts with a one-word answer that there would be any blowback.

“A leak of this stature is absolutely appalling,” Roberts said.

“If the person behind it thinks that it will affect our work, that’s just foolish.”

Roberts also denounced the unidentified leaker after praising the Supreme Court’s personnel, ranging from the justices’ law clerks to the cleaning staff.
