You might be shocked to hear the top 5 fantasy defenses this season:
1. Minnesota Vikings (85 pts): Minnesota Comes as no shock to the fantasy world. Led by Jared Allen's 6.5 sacks this defense is off to a spectacular start.
2. Denver Broncos (83 pts): Who thought the Broncos would be here, and leading the AFC in sacks(16)? Defensive coordinator Mike Nolan did, he knew exactly what he was doing with the installment of the 3-4 scheme.
3. San Francisco 49ers (83 pts): The Niners are at it on offense and defense. The highlight of this D is definitely Patrick Willis, but don't over look a start studded secondary: Nate Clements, Michael Lewis, Dashon Goldson, Dre Bly, and Shawntae Spencer.
4. New Orleans Saints (83 pts): Really?.... Ya really. Leading the league in turnovers(13) which includes 10 interceptions, the Saints have earned their spot in this top 5. Did we mention 5 of those interceptions are Darren Sharper's.
5. New York Giants (82 pts): Giants end off the list as a usual suspect, not a surprise to be here but NPD is always glad to see a former champion in respective form. Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora, and Antonio Pierce are a fearsome trio on the gridiron.
