Survivor II (1 Viewer)

I just saw that coaches are not supported therefore we are going to eliminate that. Sorry for the late announcement.

Repeating here. Everybody needs to make sure their computer works with the software. I had to download extra stuff (and that is the norm).

I am swamped on stuff today. I will check back tonight on things and email people all these extra details.
Damn. Less complexity = giving the sheep more of a chance. Are we still going 24 rounds deep?

I need this answered ASAP or I will be getting no sleep tonight or calling in sick to work. Both of which are undesirable.

I am setting up this league now. I will be emailing everything out in about an hour too. This should be a ton of fun.David

Just dowloaded the applicaton.- Very User Friendly- Default Timer Went Too Fast IMO, especially time between players- For 14 bucks...well worth the price

I think it is free until late August. I jsut had a draft tonight on it. The software is very slick. There are no ways to go backwards, etc though so people need to make sure they nominate the right person. You fat finger Troy hambrick and you will get stuck with him.David

Serious question DD...why are the values different with the same parameters between the VBD and DD applications?

So are we still going 24 rounds deep or are we knocking it down a few rounds because we have eliminated the coaches?

I finally got the email. No questions here.
So Reading Is Fundamental.
Proper valuation of players is fundamental Bass. You may want to look into developing those skills. The clock is ticking.
Since your question was already answered in this post, I think you better work on conserving the brain cells.
:rotflmao: LHUCKS + LEAGUE WITH OTHER HIGH PROFILE MB MEMBERS + SOME KEY STAFF MEMBERS = SUPER COCKY LHUCKS! ;) Good luck to those who aren't blessed with LHUCKS ff acumen. :nerd:

only five of you have registered - please do that soon so we know everything is a go.Registered:DoddsRudnickiFootballmanEastBayFunk BassNBrew

A) This coming from the guy that I'm currently drafting circles around in MBSL II. :P B) I earned my spot into this draft, I wasn't invited.C) As for my opponents...they will need every ounce of "luck" they can muster.D) As for being "cocky"...this MB needed a little character.E) "It aint cocky if you can back it up" ;) -LHUCKS

We have 11 signed up right now. If anyone sees Purplehaze please have him sign up at the fantasyauctioneer website.Looking forward to crushing this "dream team" I keep hearing about. When I win, I expect to hear little about the most competitive draft from the 2003 Survivor II of last year. This is pure skill with an auction draft. We except no excuses. Bring your A game because you are going to need it.Top 5 will get a return invite. LHUCKS and the other 6 that don't make the cut will not be invited back next year.Make sure to send your answers to the questions I sent out to Clayton Gray before the draft. We will debut the draft and questions on Monday at the site. I will make all of this content free so the MB crowd can all chime in.Back to work here. New VBD App calls.

Would it be a good idea to have an alternate in case something happens with Haze?

I think I received this kind of taunting about one year ago. :football:

you guys can all have place 2, 3, 4, and 5 because winning this thing... me being #1 is the easiest thing in the world. OWNED.

We except no excuses.
Technically, wouldn't this mean you'll use all the excuses? Maybe you mean you expect no excuses, which would make more sense because honestly, you're out of your league.

Or maybe you mean you'll accept no excuses, which would make more sense because you won't be geting any.

Whichever way you meant it, thanks.

So... who actually has a plan for how much they spend on what?? I have a few targets that I will buy at all costs and that is who I plan on buying and none of you will be able to stop me. I wont mind getting Leftwich and Palmer for a $1 near the end of the draft either. I also wont mind having Foster and Minor for $1 either in my backfield. I will have the bestest team ever.

Haze contacted me. He can't get out to the site because of a firewall at work. He will be there. It's a go. See everybody soon.

Kev...your invite lacks as much credibility as BnB's :P

Q1. Ideally how many of each position are you going for? (ie 2 QBs, 3Defs, etc)Q2. What percentage of the cap are you alocating for each of thepositions? (ie 20% for QBs, 50% for RBs, etc)Q3: What percentage of the cap are you allocating for starters (1 QB,2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 flex, 1 def, 1 PK). (ie 80% for starters)Q4. What players are you targetting and at what price?Q5. Describe your general strategy.Q6. Are there any particular handcuffs that you want to secure if theprice is right? If yes, who?and then after we finish the draft, I would like the followingquestions in a few days:Q1: Were you able to stick to your pre-draft strategy?Q2: Do you like your team? What were your best values?Q3: What player(s) do you regret bidding on?Q4. Besides your own team, which 3 people have solid rosters?Q5. What advice can you lend for a successful auction draft in the future.
are these the only questions we need to answer because i think there are more but i lost the email.
1. Pre-draft strategy - What was your plan? How much cap were you hoping to spend, who are you targetting, etc. This will actually be due to Clayton Gray the morning of the draft (It will not be shared with anyone on staff). I want them turned in before because I expect certain players did not go as cheap as expected, etc. This should be interesting to our viewers to see how everyone adjusted to their plan.2. First 8 players purchased - Good deals, bad deals, How did this deviate from your plan. What is your new plan. How do you expect to shape your team the rest of the way, etc.3. Next 8 players4. Final 8 players5. Self assessment to your strengths / weaknesses and chance to win first prize.
so is it either set of questions... or both sets?? thanks. i cannot wait to draft with you people because i am going to spend 70% on RB's... 40% on QB's and 38% on WR's. who cares about TE's, K's, and Def's... I dont need them.

Is there going to be a link that pops up closer to the start that we can use to actually launch the auction tool for the auction? I can view the auction settings, but don't see anywhere at present to click to actually enter our auction.

I forgot I posted the first set. Turn in what you can. I am not too stressed about this. The key is to provide some insight into how people plan for an auction.

I just joined the auction. Maybe I needed to do that so you guys could see it. Just lgin and go to my auctions. There should be a join button there now.David

Kev, go log into your account. Click on My auctions. And click on the JOIN button for the auction. ONce you get into the draft app, the bottom left next to the SEND button is the chat option.
