"SURVIVOR" LEAGUE
17 teams ($100 per franchise)
16 week season (1 team eliminated each week-the lowest scoring remaining team for that week)
Serpentine draft, 16 rounds, 12 hour time limit. (Timer suspended between 2am and 6am est...time limit will be reduced by commisioner if neccesary to expedite the draft) Order to be determined by dice roll at www.irony.com (Highest number is pick #1, Lowest number rolled picks last).
Draft will begin on or about August 1st (once all teams are paid).
Rosters will consist of 18 players, 8 starters and 10 bench players.
Starting lineups will consist of 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, and 2 flex (RB/WR/TE). Bench players can be whatever position you like. BYE week players ok. No lineup submissions...MFL will submit your optimum lineup for you based on weeks results. There will be NO TRANSACTIONS of any kind after the draft. Trading during the draft is okay until the end of the draft (NO transactions of any kind-trades, waivers, FA, etc. for the duration of the season - ***This is all about the draft...how does your draft hold up on the island with the other surviviors?!?!?)
Decimal Scoring:
1 pt 10 yards rush or recieving (or .1 pts per yd)
1 pt every 25 yards passing
6 pts per TD (passing, rushing, recieving)
2 pts per 2 point conversion
3 pts per FG and 1 pt per XP
Each week the lowest scoring remaining team will be eliminated. In the event of a tie, the first bench player will be compared for each team. Still tied...bench player #2, etc. One team will be eliminated each week until there is only one team remaining after week 16. The lowest total starter points for each week will be "voted" off the island (eliminated from contention)!!!
Payouts:
17 X $100 = $1700
winner = $800
2nd = $300
3rd = $125
weekly hi-score = $400 ($25 X 16...week 17 winner doesn't get the $25) So even if you're knocked out early, you can still win some dough.
