Survivor Leagues Week 10 (1 Viewer)

1st up, a few notes now that we've finished the bye weeks (and this includes this week boots.)

QB wise, the MVP is Drew Brees. Only 3 teams eliminated so far have him. No other QB is close, with 5 different QBs having 8/14 alive.

No QB owned by all teams is out completely, but Vince Young has only 1 team left.

RB wise, Brandon Jacobs is another who has only been booted on 3 teams. The next closest is Portis and Norwood, 9/14 alive. Of those not drafted by all 14, Derrick Ward is 8/10, and weirdly enough Benson is 8/12 alive.

The only RB gone. McFadden's teams are 0-14 for survival.

Ward, Patten, and Muhammad are the best WRs, 10/14 alive. Galloway and OchoCinco are the anchors, with only 1 team alive for each.

TEs don't really have a difference maker. Cooley is the best of the preseason top 5 (8/14 alive)

PK shows how useless the position is (Sorry Capybara :IBTL: ) The most alive Kicker? Tynes

Luckiest survivor is Capt. Hook in MBSL1 He's #15 in overall score, has yet to score above 119, but he's still alive.

Unluckiest is Jeff Terfertiller in SSL3. Top overall scorer but still out.

PDSL4 is the only league where the 6 left are the top 6 scorers.

MBSLs - 1st the screwup in MBSL2. It didn't change a thing. The bootee's go out in the exact same order, including this week, where Road Warriors goes out again, just postponing my exit by a week.

In 1, Busman got immunity a week early, as he is out this week. Reaper gets immunity next week.

SSL - Out this week are Evilgrin, Radballs, Jmills, and Road Warriors, all of which were down going into the Mon game.

Safe next week is Dpeease, Team Legacy, Duckboy, and Steel Dillo, where there were a couple of last minute jumps.

PDSL - Out is Bloom (Booting the 3rd staffer in a row), Road Warriors (finishing a brutal week for him), Reaper and Fallerjw.

Safe next week is Ravnzfan, FUBAR(thanx to Jason Hill of all players), Andy Dufresne, and qazqaz

WSL - Out is Pimpin Aint Easy, Shadowmaster, and Gamma1210 (thanx to Road Warriors one bright moment this week) in 1,3,4.

WSL2 has a tie, since Blue-Kun climbed out of harms way.

So we go to tiebreakers for Rudnicki and Busman. Aaron has Seneca Wallace sitting on bench with 15 points. Busman has Kevin Boss's 24 to spank Wallace back to the bench.

Rudnicki is out.

Up top there is another tie to deal with. Me and Capt Hook are tied with 148. My best unused is the Raiders Delhomme fueled 13 pts. Favre's 14 just squeezes me out. So Capt Hook gets immunity. Congrats Perry.

Also safe this week is Duke1948, Jmills, and Jeter23.

MBSL2 question.

Could someone please explain to me why we started eliminating teams at week 2? Doing this leaves only one team left for week 17, so the winner will be determined during week 16. I thought in years past we eliminated the first team week 3, so we would have 2 teams left in week 17. I have been confused all year as to why it started off the way it did.

Maybe my math is off, so if anyone could explain it to me I would appreciate it.

Also, if I am right, how badly will it affect the current standings? Or at all? I think one extra team may still be alive.

TIA

Tough week for me.

Out in SSL4.

Likely out in PDSL2 ( Gore / Fitz need to total 7 pts )

Saved by immunity in WSL4 with an attrocious 57... See if that can be turned around next week.

Its been fun, guys. Thanks for the efforts Twilight. All in all, not a terrible showing for my 1st year in these. I'll be back strong next year.

Thanks for the efforts, Twilight

by-george, i think you are correctlink

MBSL2 - Cumulative Survivor: A slight twist on the elimination. The lowest YTD scoring team will be eliminated every week starting after week 3. No immunity will be in play. Everyone will start with an 8 hour clock. The clock will be suspended every day from 1 AM EDT to 5 AM EDT (this means everyone should have 12 hours over night). If your timer expires, you clock time will be cut in half. The guys at the turn don’t get extra time for the second pick. Clock is on during the weekends.

Which players have scored the best for your team based on a weekly average this year? (Divided by 9 to account for the bye weeks)

Here's my best starting line-up & their draft position:

QB - P. Rivers: 24.4 points per week, 6.03

RB - T. Jones: 15.10 points per week, 4.03

RB - MJD: 14.10 points per week, 1.14

WR - T. Owens: 11.40 points per week, 2.03

WR - M. Jenkins: 7.80 points per week, 10.03

WR - Roy Williams: 5.50 points per week, 3.14

TE - O. Daniels: 15.10 points per week, 5.14

K - R. Gould: 7.10 points per week, 15.14

D - NY Jets: 10.40 points per week, 14.03

Been a good run , fellas, but I couldnt survive no Witten this week, even though the Jets D tried to push me through. A bigger week from Westbrook would have went a long way.

Well ####It's the way it is because I was doing it from memory and didn't have instant access to last years result to check with the switchover to my new system.I'm on my other computer right now. Give me a little to see what needs to be fixed.

Sucks that after getting immunity 2x, the week I don't have it, Gore owner will likely put a foot up my ###.

We'll see but regardless of my survival in PDSL 4, Twi you do a great job with this.

I'll be rooting for you this week....

It may violate protocol to comment on the specific league, but the remaining teams in SSL3 (with the exception of mine sadly) have some solid teams. I was going down the rosters looking to see who looked weak for next week and the only glaring vulnerability was my decimated squad.

As infrequent as interaction is between and among the league members, with the exception of drafting, these survivor leagues certainly bring together some fantasy drafting talent.
