Survivor Pool Strategy Discussion: Week 10 (1 Viewer)

No one started one yet. I'm sure many relieved folks with Chicago and TB winning at the end.

I've used likely "winners" this week in San Diego (vs. KC), AZ (vs SF) and CAR (@ OAK).

Not a lot of good other choices on the docket, but here are some of my favorites:

MIA (vs SEA) - Seattle travels across the country for the fourth time, still not looking like a consistent team on either side. Miami winning at Denver and against Buffalo so consistent and solid at least recently.

JAX (@ DET) - with the possibility of Stanton or Culpepper starting, I think it's hard not to pick JAX, even after losing to CIN. Still, JAX is very disappointing this year.

I think those four games are looking solid.

My three best available plays are Arizona, Miami, Carolina

Arizona Pros: At home. O is on fire. D is playing well. Easily handled St Louis yesterday

Arizona cons: Warner is capable of imploding at any moment, without notice. SF stinks but never count out Gore for a big game. Will Singletary have these guys focused after the bye? Will Shaun Hill be lights out in his search to solidify the starting job?

Miami Pros: At home. Playing sound, generally mistake free football. O can put up points. D playing well. Looks like no Hasselbeck again. Seattle is the suck, especially when traveling east.

Miami Cons: I have to think the wheels come off the Pennington bus sooner or later. It was only 1 year ago that Miami was 1-15. How can I trust a 4-4 team to keep me going?

Carolina Pros: Coming off a bye. Pretty healthy. Solid passing game, running game, and D. Playing the Oakland Raiders, one of the worst teams in football, who only had 77 total yards of offense yesterday AT HOME AGAINST THE FALCONS.

Carolina Cons: On the Road. No other cons

I usually try to take a home team, but am very tempted to take Carolina. I think Oakland is that bad. Arizona and Miami both scare me. I think their records are better than their actual teams and both could be due for a let down. I think Carolina has too many vets and too good coaching for a let down.
