I'm trying to figure out what people use as a tie breaker to determine what player to select when you have three pretty equally rated. For example T. Jones, M. Lynch and B. Jacobs are all being drafted in the same general ADP, around the 19th - 21st picks in redraft ppr leagues according to MFL. I use these three players not because I am looking for a who do I pick, but because I am trying to figure out what I might be missing when trying to break virtual ties in player rankings. Even though I don't give a ton of creedance to it for the regular season, there isn't much difference in the strength of schedule during the playoffs (each plays 2 good run Ds and 2 poor). Past history isn't as big a factor as it could be because each finds themself in a new circumstance. Jones has played well for Chicago, but is with a new team, Jacobs is going to be a starter for the first time and Lynch is a rookie. None of the three play on an overpowering offense or behind a particularly good line. I am here to learn, so tell me, in a case like this besides your gut feel, what factors do you use to determine which would be your pick?
