Last night was my annual draft in an all important family redraft league that has been together over 10 years now. No newbies in this league. Non-ppr 12 team standard ESPN scoring. I worked so hard and had a strategy and I thought I executed it. Wait on QB and hope for Murray in the 6th round. Check it happened. wait on TE and get either Pitts or Kincaid after that and got Pitts round 7. So how did I end up with this lousy team? And note week 12 is a complete disaster where both starting RBs, 1 bench RB, WR2 and both TEs are ALL on bye week, Yeah clever that. Did I screw up as badly as I think I did? HELP

QB - Murray, Tagovailoa
RB - Etienne, J Cook, Corum, Chase, Benson
WR - Jefferson, London, R RIce, J Williams, B Cooks
TE - Pitts, T Hill
TD/ST - Ravens
K - Moody

Great team. No worries. You’ll love it except week 12. Sucks having all the byes the same week but at least you really only have one week to deal with. I’m in the same week 12 boat with my main team. Just planning on flipping what I can and losing. Nothing I can really do.

I'm with you here, I think this is a very good team.

Week 12 is a long ways away. Why sweat it now? So much happens between now and then, just be ready to move if you see a possible starting RB on waivers that could play week 12. Maybe Benson and Corum are getting enough work to fill those gaps. I think Cook and Etienne are great RBs that have clear roles this year.

I also had my draft last night and snagged Murray as my QB and my first 2 WRs were Jefferson and London. I wish I could have gotten Rice but settled for Worthy later. I think Rice has another sneaky good year.

I wanted Pitts or Kincaid and Pitts went first so I grabbed Kincaid. No worries there.

My only difference is I don't carry a second QB or TE. I'll deal with bye weeks when they come. I'd rather carry extra back up RBs incase one hits. Then I have another starting RB for later in the season or trade bait.

I do like Tua but if you can only play one I'd rather roster extra RBs. Same with Taysom Hill. Sneaky TE play but unlikely to see your starting roster. I don't know your league and how many QBs and TEs are carried but if there are some good RBs on waivers right now I would be tempted to pick them up.

Thanks for all the kind replies. I am stepping off the ledge. here comes the straight jacket and nice young men in white coats to help me. LOL

I don't think it's as bad as all that. If you're not feeling happy a few weeks in, maybe try to deal one of your QBs to someone struggling with byes?
Weeks 6, 12 and 14 seem like notable timepoints where teams might be missing their studs...

Please help me if you can.

You have a really good team - a lot of the rostered players are guys I was targeting for later picks I had in some redraft leagues.

Ultimately, value was falling to me and I ended up grabbing Hurts in the 5th round in one league and got Mahomes for $17 in an auction draft - I believe Murray went for $9.
