Tampa Bay locals - what is the word on VJax? (1 Viewer)

Very minimal details on him. Anything more detailed than hearing game-time decision? Here is the latest I could find.

TAMPA BAY TIMES 22 HOURS AGO
Bucs' Jackson likely game-time decisionTAMPA — The status of Bucs WR Vincent Jackson, whose 963 receiving yards are more than double any teammate, for Sunday's game against Buffalo remains in question after he was again limited in practice by a hamstring injury Friday.

Bucs WR Jackson questionableTampa Bay WR Vincent Jackson has been limited in practice all week and now he’s a question mark for Sunday’s game with the Bills. Jackson is listed as questionable after practicing on a limited basis Friday. Jackson is battling a hamstring injury. Fellow WR Chris Owusu is also questionable with a hamstring problem.

I've been on these boards a couple of years and never stopped to ask what the little Thor's hammer emoticon means.
It's a placeholder so you can go back and find your posts.:sehorn:
Still very confused.
Over the years the board has change it's appearance. Used to show a "black dot" next to the thread to indicate that you have replied in it. Now it shows a star. At one time there would be a white corner in the square that was next to it. Thus the ":sehorn" reference.

But back on topic.. How has Jackson responded to these type of injuries in the past? Is he likely to pull up lame after a few plays and end up with a 3-25 stat line? I know it is a hammy and that possibility ALWAYS exists with those type of injuries, but some players are more likely to get re-injured (McFadden) and others are dinged up and tend to play well (Megatron).

Just wonder where Jackson falls into that spectrum. If he plays should we consider it relatively safe that he is recovered?

Great question but I don't know - help homers please!

Im prob gonna start him but it's against my better judgement. My gut tells me go with cooper, but everything and everyone else says vjax is a must start and I'd rather live or die with riding my studs than getting cute cause I have a hunch and having it not go my way.

He better get that double digit targets today though, that's been his biggest problem, 6 targets doesn't cut it...

Interestingly enough that is the same debate I'm facing today. I'm starting Cooper myself, but won't be surprised if Jackson lights up Buffalo.

Hamstrings are one of those injuries that can linger. I will be very happy to be wrong today though. Hoping Jackson doesn't have any lingering effects going into the playoffs.
