Just wondering everyone's take on what this move does to the DT corps and overall run defense. have they named a starter alongside Harris? Who would be the best in there? I'd love it if Dvoracek pans out, but my guess it will be Idonije. Here's the current roster grouped by position:

I think the Bears are hoping that Dvoracek is ready to play, but it's likely to be a rotation with Anthony Adams in the mix as well.

The more interesting news might just be the extension Nathan Vasher received today. Could make Charles Tillman expendable (or franchised) depending on how the Archuleta/Brown/Manning dominoes fall.

Too early to tell. Franchise LB money is big bucks. I seriously doubt we'll see him camp until near the end, barring a contract.

It just seems like that the biggest knock on him is that he is a product of the system. If he wants to avoid that label when testing free agency it would seem that keeping whoever his replacement is off the field would be smart, since if Okwo or Williams comes in and excels, it would basically prove that he is and kill his value. However, if they flop, he'd prove his doubters wrong, but this seems like a hefty gamble to prove a point. It's not like he's the first player in the world to get slapped with the Franchise tag. He should shut-up, play it out and keep his value high, get another pro-bowl appearance to bolster his value, and then if the Bears do it again then I think a holdout would be perfectly reasonable.
