It's fairly shocking to me that Choice was able to put up 160+ yards running and receiving against the Steelers. VERY good production considering the defense. Any thoughts on how Choice could perform at home vs NYG? How are the GMen defending the run recently? Anyone that was able to watch Choice and give an impression of his performance?
Choice is a solid player. He is not spectacular in any real way, but just an effective player. Sigmund Bloom likened him to Dominic Rhodes and Chester Taylor. I like those comparisons. They fit well.So next week Dallas plays the Giants in Dallas. Its unclear if Barber will play, but it seems likely that he will. So Choice's touches may already be less than what he had against Pitt. The Giants have a good D. But its probably not better than Pittsburghs. Dallas has had some success running against the gmen over the last couple of years. Its really tough to draw conclusions from their first game this year because Romo was out. They did not have to respect the pass. In the playoff game last year, Barber had 100 yards by half time. So Dallas can run on the Giants. The bottom line is that Choice will likely be an effective player against the Giants if he gets the touches. Hardly Andrian Peterson against Denver or the Rams good, but a viable fantasy option. Its just not clear if he'll get the touches at this point.
