I know this was mentioned in the Colts / Lions thread, but I thought it deserved it's own thread.

Tatum Bell-RB-Lions Aug. 25 - 7:46 pm et

Tatum Bell appeared to injure his ankle in Saturday night's preseason game.

Bell hobbled off the field and isn't expected back tonight. We'll pass along more information as we know it.

I agree, it did not look that bad. It also seems that they are unsure who will be the backup. This is a good chance to see Duckett and Calhoun with the first team. Neither have been impressive, IMO.

TJ has looked a lot better . . . which is easy to say since Calhoun has looked horrible . . .

they've had their problems with RB's thats for sure..I like Kitna more and more...

so duckett is the backup to have now? Any chance he gets GL as well as some carries even when Bell returns?

FWIW, it is reported that Bell has injured his left lung and is having breathing problems. He is listed as questionable.
