Very solid would be the term for Hawthorne at this point, a 1 LB for sure.
Unless they add someone else in free agency, I'd be surprised if Hill is not the WLB this year. The hot pick up will depend on your starting requirements and how many teams are in your league.

Hawthorne will be top 15 easy and he has shown us what he can do in the middle before so he is a fairly safe bet. Hill will more than likely go to WLB but will only see two downs and will be overdraft soon. If any thing I would boast Curry especially in big play leagues!!
Ok, other than the "Hawthorne is gonna rock!" comments, Jene can you give me a solid analysis for Hawthorne in both dynasty and redraft for this season? There's nothing that can change his 3 down MLB status, correct? He's good in coverage, a beast tackler, has shown it plenty of times when given the chance.
I noticed you have him as a LB3+ in your tier rankings, but I'm assuming that is not updated as of lately.
Does Hawthorne have 100+ solo tackle potential with a fair number of big plays this year? I have a good draft coming up soon and it's heavy IDP and I'd love ot sneak him in as a LB2 later on in the draft. In a dynasty league, high IDP scoring, is he for real? Several years of top production? I don't know what his contract status is, but I'm just trying to keep my excitement down about him right now. He seems like the guy that can actually blow up and turn into the #1 LB this year.
Do you guys feel this way? Get him at all costs?
