TC Coverage (1 Viewer)

What if we could get the kind of in-depth coverage like Cecil Lammey is doing with the Broncos in every training camp (BTW, outstanding job, Cecil)? Is the idea that far-fetched? With the popularity of FBG.com, maybe something could be done. I live too far away from any camps, but I'd bet there's somebody close enough to every camp that would be willing to cover that particular team for some compensation (students, teachers, retirees, & other people who traditionally have their summers off).

Even though I'm a subscriber, I'm unsure of FBG's plans for TC. I believe I saw something about some kind of TC coverage for each team, but I haven't seen any in-depth coverage other than what Cecil provides. Maybe it's in the works (or already underway), but I've just missed it. If not, can anybody in-the-know tell me if this is even possible?

Bob Henry provides the in-depth training camp coverage, and I would think the first installment should appear next week.As far as having a person at each camp, I don't think that's a realistic expectation. I believe Lammey is a member of the Denver media, so it's kind of his job to be at the Broncos' camp. I doubt you would find many people who would be able to take three weeks to commit to going to camp every day to keep tabs on a team, whether they were employed or not. It would take some serious compensation for most people to take on that task. There are many members from this board who will attend camp for a few days or a week or so, and it's informative to read their reports on their experiences. Many will even take requests before they go on how a specific player is faring.

Thanks for the Bob Henry info. Also, I realize it would take some doing (media credentials, etc.), but I believe there would be more people willing to do something like that than you realize (for a little compensation). I freely admit I could be wrong about this, though. Anyway, just throwing the idea out there. Again, I appreciate the reply & look forward to Bob's reports.
