I have Kittle who will probably play but is questionable. I don't want to risk a zero. Who should I pick up just in case?

J Johnson against the Titans...Titans were bad against the TE last year.

T Hill against the Titans...Could this be a sneaky good start for the beginning of the season with all the Running backs out?

S Laporta against the Chiefs....He might be my favorite for the long term but I would have to play him tonight.

Kittle did play minimally in the last pre season game and has participated (in a limited capacity) in practices.
I do think there is a fair chance he plays.

Johnson is ok, Laporta is boom or bust. if you need to take a risk to win, La porta has the higher upside but his floor is lower than Johnsons

Some guys don't like LaPorta.. I think he is the #2, non-back receiver in Detroit and there is no Chris Jones this evening. Just me but I would go with LaPorta... it is a dice roll but I like him and his situation

Which Dalton should I start at TE?

I play Johnson because you can get further reports on Kittle and may even go with him if things keep being positive. There isn't that much difference between Johnson and Laporta to take the Kittle choice off the table right now.
