TE Vernon Davis - Dynasty TE/WR combined (1 Viewer)

With TE and WR combined where would you slot Vernon Davis for Dynasty. Here is what I'm thinking:

WR Chad Jackson

WR Santonio Holmes

TE Vernon Davis

WR Sinorice Moss

WR Greg Jennings

This is a tough call for me due to the potential upside of Moss and Jennings.

I actually like him over all of the WRs at this point. I think he could be the next Gates and even though he has a young QB throwing to him they usually go to the saftey valve the TE alot

ahead of all the WRs... especially if you have to start atleast one TE each week.

Davis will be the best "WR" on his team. Who else fits that bill? Gonzo... Gates... Heap in his big years... so I figure Davis will be in a spot to produce huge. Even if it is SF's offense. Worst case he grabs alot of garbage time catches and yardage as opponents with the lead play a soft prevent coverage allowing the underneath catches. With Davis's speed, he will probably break a couple long TD runs this year to boot, which will probably give you huge TE production those weeks too.

I think he meant if WRs and TEs were mixed into the same position.Such is the case in my dynasty league. In which case, you just have to throw out the position and focus on the #s.

PPR would make a difference. I think I would still rank Davis above the WRs, but then again I'm a sucker for 40 times...

It's a really different scoring system. 1 point per yard, 4 points per reception, 6 points for a TD. High scoring system with TD's devalued relative to standard leagues. TD values go up with each successive one:

1 TD = 6 pts

2 TD's = 15 pts

3 TD's = 40 pts

4 TD's = 100 pts

5 TD's = 200 pts

I'm pretty surprised most of the comments have Davis challenging Holmes and Jackson.
