Don't buy St. Louis for a second. Isn't every season supposed to be the one where they make a move? They still have an unsettled QB situation, a revolving door at RB and no stud WR. And if they don't do well in 2015, would it be a shock if Fisher is let go? For a team that supposedly dominated the RG3 trade, they sure don't have much to show for anything.

QB is certainly an issue if Bradford doesn't come back healthy or if he falters, but Mason seems like the real deal at RB and do they really need a stud WR to win a Super Bowl? I think this past Super Bowl shows that they do not - plus Brian Quick played pretty well this past season.

Their defense is for real.

With the exception of Edelman, Stedman Bailey is probably better than any receiver on either super bowl team (with a competent qb he might be better than Edelman too).

But no, they don't have Brady or Wilson.

Every season is "supposed" to be the year they have enough in place that they'll make a leap if they can get a full year of decent QB play.

They haven't failed to come through on that...in fact all those supporting pieces keep looking better and better.

They just never get that full year of decent QB play. No real reason to think it'll happen now, but they're still in that position, IMO. If anything, after the last draft, those supporting pieces look better than ever.

I don't even think they need GOOD QB play. Just adequate. A good game manager type who could make good use of their short game wideouts, their TE, and their RB's to stay on top of the field position war, limit TO's, and let the D carry the day...IMO, that would be plenty for them to make a playoff run.
