Not that these teams will be rushing out to get new RBs, but heading into to season, who would have thought they'd be ranked that low?

Team Rushing Totals, Looking at Next Year . . . Who Might Need a RB?
or perhaps, what teams might already have the RB, but need an OL to be able to effectively run the ball on a regular basisI agree that in most cases, it's the lack of a quality RB to blame for the poor rushing totals, but the OL obviously needs to be in the discussion as well.

Certainly I agree with this, but given that we don't draft offensive lines and people are quick to get a jump on next year and college prospects I figured that that would get more play. Several teams have had injuries that caused them to be less productive running the ball while others may have had other personnel issues that may have slanted their totals one way or another as well.I'm not sure what the record for a team with the lowest team leader in rushing yards is, but I'm guessing the Broncos have to be in the running.

OL is usually the key. It's the main reason KC's rushing is not what it was 3 years ago. It's part of the reason Carolina's is. When you open up gaping holes it's easy to run through....unless you pitter patter....Lewis....you homo. We picked that idiot in the 2nd rd. and still made it to the championship.

Baltimore ( Cant rely on McGahee , McClain is a FB , Rice is a pedestrian RB )

New England ( Dont have a NFL RB on roster )

NY Jets ( For the 2010 seqason )

T Bay ( Depending on how Cadillac does in the next few weeks )

KC ( WIll part with LJ )

Seattle ( No doubt they need a RB )

Denver ( One of these days they need to stop going with scrubs )

Cleveland ( Harrison maybe )

Charger ( To be groomed by LT )

Bengals ( Cant rely on Benson )

Arizona ( Edge is done but still better then Hightower , that says it all )

6 of the top 10 use a committee. Some out of necessity, but most out of principle. Some of these guys are tops in ffl's despite sharing. Could even more teams go to it? I think the Eagles, among others should, and that would put them as candidates to draft a RB.

NE really surprised me

Surprised Edge is still the leading rusher thus far.
Hightower only needs 20 yds to catch him. And the way he's been running I say Edge keeps his edge.
