OK, so some of us are rolling without a top-end TE and there's a lot of intriguing guys out there, but they're inconsistent. Who do you guys like from this group of lower-tier options this week?

Todd Heap - showed signs of life last week, but may be needed to block vs the Giants pass rush

Visanthe Shiancoe - 3 catches for 4 yards last week? Had been OK before that.

Anthony Fasano - splitting with Martin, disappointed lately

Vernon Davis - caught a TD last week and has a good matchup, but can disappear anytime

Zach Miller - should be the best of this group, but team holds him back

John Carlson - Hasselbeck rusty? Dropped a few last week, too.

Jeremy Shockey - he's starting to hit waiver wires... if he's there, pick him up or will B. Miller continue to roll?

L.J. Smith - great matchup... can he take advantage?

Matt Spaeth - listed only because SD can't cover the TE... but can you take a chance on this guy?

Donald Lee - milk carton

Not sure why he isn't in your group, but I like Greg Olsen this week with Orton back and the Green Bay TEs banged up a bit.

Could have listed him, was checking a few waiver wires in my leagues for guys to list here and he's pretty much gone everywhere. But if he's available, yeah.

With Smith hurting in TB...Stevens? They love using both on a good day, so with one down he could be huge this week.
