Tech help needed (1 Viewer)

Not sure what the problem is but for the past few days I've been unable to get onto the Forums or FBG's from my Mac laptop. I can access from my windows based BBerry and my PC through the same modem. Anyone having this problem? Any ideas on how to help? I've emptied my cache, rebooted, pretty much everything I can think of. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

But also seriously, you're not going to get much help without elaborating on "unable to get onto the Forums".

Login issue or Access issue? ("get onto" could mean either)

Getting an error? If so, what does it say?

Any issues with any other sites?

Sounds like a network issue between your ISP and our webhost. What internet service provider are you using?

He said it worked fine through his PC via the same modem, but not his Mac. So I doubt that's his problem.

Might want to find out how to clear the DNS cache on the Mac.

I thought he said he was using his Blackberry as a modem for the PC. Clearing the local DNS cache would be the next step in that case, as Topes said.

thanks for the help all. It turns out it was some sort of DNS issue not a FBG issue. So Topes put me on the right track.
