Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, and his teddybear. Can't wait to see this. Trailer is definitely NSFW.

F U THUNDER!

I can't get over the fact that the voice sounds too much like Peter Griffin.

edit: also it looks kinda dumb.

I watched Friends with Benefits the other night with my wife. Mila Kunis is seriously hot. Thats all

Wait, so the twist is Ted is not only real to Wahlberg's character, but to everyone else to, right?

Gotta admit, Marky-mark trying to guess the white trash girl name was aces.

"Wait, so was it one of the names I said but with a 'Lynn' after it?"

:lmao:

Wow. That did not look even remotely funny. I mean, not even a little bit.

I'll hold out hope because it's MacFarlane but to not get even a chuckle out of me in a 3 minute trailer is worrisome.

Idea sounds really stupid, but I will probably watch it. Mila Kunis is hot enough to watch even in a terrible movie, and I generally find MacFalane funny.

Man tough crowd. I laughed at the thunder song, the part about the ring (what, anal?) and the white trash name. Looks good to me.

seems like a rip-off of that Australian human dog thing
:goodposting:And the trailer was pretty terrible too outside of the white trash name part. I'll still likely end up seeing it simply because of Seth McFarlane, but I don't have high hopes.

I still think the movie could end up being hilarious because I think MacFarlane has proven to be a very funny guy. I actually like it that I have low expectations, I usually enjoy films more when I do.But no, I barely even cracked a smile at the trailer.

Looks absolutely horrible. Mila is the only reason Ill watch it when it hits Netflix. Hopefully its not as bad as it seems.

Wahlberg is as boom or bust as you can get. The happening? Worst acting I've ever seen. Mailed it in completely.

its like the only reason its funny cuz it has a vulgar, cursing teddy bear? i mean that is pretty funny i guess haha

Why did he give the Teddy Bear Peter Griffin's voice? I realize he does Peter Griffin's voice but he doesnt even sound like that really. I dont think I can get past that. The teddy bear speaks and all I can think of is Peter Griffin.

Made a ton of money over the weekend. Walberg's second best opening ever behind Apes.

Spiderman, Ice Age, Dark Knight really the only "big" movies left to open this summer? Surprising.

Somwhere in the $50m-$55m range for opening weekend. Certainly going to go over $100m rather easily...$125m+ likely now.

Ted 2 coming soon

Neil deGrasse Tyson ‏@neiltyson

Just saw Ted. @SethMacFarlane cared enough to get the night sky over Boston correct. The rest of the movie must also be real.

RT @d_mcdermott: Only unrealistic thing about Ted was how easily everyone found parking spaces in Boston at night. // Touché

funny, I saw deGrasse on the Daily show once, pointing out the earth in the beginning of the show rotates the wrong way.

Laughed my ### off for most of it. A lot of jokes/comments that most of the younger kids didn't get that those in their mid 30's+ will. Well worth the money.

Saw this on Friday, hilarious and worth the price of the ticket.

The scene where Ted interviews at the grocery store almost made me piss my pants.

Took my 16 year old and his friend Saturday night.

Well worth it. Dragged a bit at the end but ended with very funny scene imo. A great "Airplane" scene worked in very nicely.

Every year on my b-day I take my two girls to the movies - Lilo & Stitch, Rugrats go Wild, etc...

This year they wanted something more grownup since they aren't "kids" anymore (13 and 16) so we went to this.

Extremely inappropriate but extremely funny at the same time. A few scenes that I felt awkward watching with them but given a choice I'd do it again.

One the way home the youngest asked "what was that thing they were using to smoke out of"? The oldest said "when they were smoking weed"? And the youngest said, "they weren't smoking any weeds they were smoking marijuana".

Please don't tell their mother.

Wahlberg is usually so terrible I dont know if I could get past it. Then again, Mila's awesomeness probably offsets that.

Im thisnk Im gonna wait on this one.

One of the guys in the office saw it. Said it was hilarious. I am still thinking wait for it to hit Redbox.

Snuck in OJ and vodka. Saw it Saturday night with a full crowd, probably enhanced the experience. Thought it was pretty funny, but not sure it was worth theater prices.
