You know, people always complain about what MLB players make, but not in other sports. How about this list of NBA players from insidehoops.com:1) Kevin Garnett (Boston) $24,751,9342)tie Jason Kidd (Dallas) $21,372,0002)tie Jermaine O'Neal (Toronto) $21,372,0004) Kobe Bryant (LA Lakers) $21,262,5005) Shaquille O'Neal (Phoenix) $21,000,0006)tie Allen Iverson (Detroit) $20,840,6256)tie. Stephon Marbury (New York) $20,840,6258) Tim Duncan (San Antonio) $20,598,7049) Tracy McGrady (Houston) $20,370,43710) Ray Allen (Boston) $18,388,43011) Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas) $18,077,90412) Paul Pierce (Boston) $18,077,90313) Shawn Marion (Miami) $17,810,00014) Rashard Lewis (Orlando) $16,447,87115) Michael Redd (Milwaukee) $15,780,00016)tie Pau Gasol (LA Lakers) $15,106,00016)tie. Andrei Kirilenko (Utah) $15,106,00018)tie. Amare Stoudemire (Pho.) $15,070,55018)tie Yao Ming (Houston) $15,070,55020) Mike Bibby (Atlanta) $14,983,603Also, what about the money actors get for movies? Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey get about $20 million dollars per movie. I think twice about renting one of their movies from the Red Box for $1.00. I know the Yankees spend a lot of money on player salaries. They have ALWAYS spent a lot of money. Wasn't Babe Ruth the first $100,000 player? Reggie Jackson was one of the highest paid players when he signed as a free agent with them. Just because they are spending all of this money, doesn't mean they will automatically win the World Series. Look at how much Detroit and Boston spent on salaries last year? They didn't win the Series either. It just seems to me that baseball players get singled out for what they make.
