Tenn RB situation (1 Viewer)

Depth charts show S Greene as starter, McCluster as 3rd down back and and Shankey as back-up yet projections have Sankey as leading scorer for Tenn RB. Are we to assume Sankey projected as starter a couple of games into season?

Pretty much right. Most people project that Sankey will overtake the lead RB sooner than later but as of now he seems to be running as the backup.

Very difficult to get a handle on this with Sankey not earning first half reps in PS. Greene has looked solid running with the first team and McCluster has shown some flashes as a CoP. I'm not sure how anyone projects Sankey as the most productive RB in TEN this year without it being a huge leap of faith.

Sankey right now is a wait and see guy. If you are expecting on starting him in the first half of the year, you need to make adjustments immediately. Sankey is a great RB4 or 5, but until he wins playing time, you can't be comfortable with anything higher.

Draft Greene for pennies then trade for Sankey for the stretch run in Wk 3-4 when his value plummets from lack of PT. He may even be on the WW by then.
